It's a easy place to get to and convient to get to train station. Wasn't keen on parking in town car park. But you do get a discount for parking. Hotel itself clean and staff were friendly. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Bit of noise from street but not that's town life for you. Quiet in hotel though.

Clean, affordable and great location. Located in middle of Watford town. Close link to Watford Central station with only a 15/20 minute walk to Watford Junction station for the mainline. Would recommend for anyone staying to visit the nearby Harry Potter Studios in Leavesden. Found it very easy to walk to Watford Junction to get the shuttle bus. Close to... More

The staff were very welcoming, greeted us on arrival and always a big smile when we came back. Asked us if we required breakfast. Payment on arrival as we had booked online. The bed was incredibly comfortable! And the room was a lot bigger than I expected. I slept well each night. The only thing I would say negative is... More

We stayed here for one night during the May half term week. The bed was very comfy and the room clean. We had the cooked breakfast which was very tasty. Friendly staff. The things that let the hotel down was the noise from outside, we had to sleep with the window open because it was so hot but it was... More

Comfortable beds, good for a short stay, friendly staff, great Italian restaurant just a few yards away. Book in for a breakfast too, well worth it all you can eat full cooked, toast,or cereals, they even got us warm milk for the cereal when we asked, and served until 11:00am

Like most Travelodges the bed was comfy and it was close by to local amenities, however I won't be staying here again. On arrival the gentleman on reception was busy chatting to a friend of his, my partner and I had to wait for their conversation to finish before he acknowledged us. We didn't receive a greeting, he just asked... More

We stayed here on the 14th May 2015 as a base for The Warner Brothers Studio Tour. Now, I always try and write fair reviews based on value for money, but despite being classed as a "budget hotel", we paid around £60-70 for both of us for 1 night to stay here mid-week, AND we booked well in advance. And,... More

First problem before arriving was the fact the hotel had no hot water due to a boiler fault, although I was offered an alternative location this was not practical as I needed to be in Watford, so goodwill was offered. The fast checkin was switched off on arrival and there was a queue at the desk. The rooms and hotel... More

Stayed here with my daughter in the half term, we wanted a base to London and Harry potter. The hotel was noisy and we both had a disturbed sleep. There was a disgusting smell of smoke in the hall way as soon as we got out the lift. Parkings a nightmare, you can park road side or pay (a lot)... More
