Well what can I say..... I booked to stay 3 nights and the rooms were basic. The shower is really bad. I ordered an early morning call for 3 days and only received it once despite telling them. I received a news paper despite cancelling it.... they just seem to be disorganised. I tried to get a drink at the... More

Stayed a couple of nights at the Hunton Park as were visiting the Harry Potter Tour. Rooms are small as you would expect around London, beds were very comfortable, could do with a safe in the room for laptops etc. The bathroom was compact, could do with a proper extractor. Ate in the restaurant which has a limited menu but... More

We stayed only one night as being invited to a wedding reception being held there. The staff are very nice and helpful. The food served during the reception was very good with decent sized portions . Wasn't that impressed with the breakfast food . In general hotel was ok but needs more attention on maintenance looks a bit shabby in... More

I booked a hotel room on line for ony £39. Clean, tidy, and staff friendly and accomodating. We paid extra for breakfast and this was good value - plenty of food. My teenage daughter and I used the swimming pool which was clean but the changing facilities were out of action as maintenance being carried out. We stayed here because... More

Recently De Vere had a promotion saying rooms for £10 per person. I had a party to go to close to the Hunton Park hotel so called the hotel, was given a central number to call. I was patient and was waiting for 1 hr on hold to speak to someone. When i eventually got through and gave my date... More

I have been frequently staying at Hunton park hotel for the last 3 years, As I live abroad and visit friends and family in the Watford area. I have stayed at HP for over 60 nights total so feel very well qualified to express honest views. The staff are without exception extremely friendly and will go out of their way... More

Having stayed at Ponsbourne Pk Hertford we expected a similiar experience at the sister hotel Hunton park, oh were we disappointed! We had room 56, a boxroom pretending to be a standard double, with a very small be, a window with half obscured glass to hide the disgusting view of the back or the kitchen area, but it doesn't disguise... Just got back from a weekend stay at Hunton Park a group of 10 adults. We found the staff professional and helpful . The rooms are clean with (super?) kingsize beds and very comfortable. After reading reviews didn't know what to expect but do not agree with them.. 2 of our group tried the swimming pool and jacquzzi and said it... More

I had a really busy trip in the UK for two weeks, so decided for my last two days to book into somewhere to relax. I did a search in the Watford area and found the De Vere. From the website it looked like just the location where I could unwind. I was sadly mistaken. The room I was in... More

The room we were allocated number 28, was very small and the double bed could have been done under the trade description act as it was very small. The room smelt of mould and was really only big enough for one person! Having tried to sleep on the floor, we were allocated a larger room number 58. If you wanted... More
