excellent value for money we stayed here for 6 nights and had wonderful breakfasts. We were going to eat out in the evening but after our first dinner we went no where else . The food was exquisite and a good variety and inexpensive as was the wine. I am slightly disabled and the room we had number 33 was... More

Stayed in family room for 4 nights. Nice creaky old building and plenty of free parking in the hotel's parking lot behind the hotel. Got a very good rate including breakfast. Room was on the ground floor, had a double bed (actually 2 singles put together), a single and a z-bed. Good size and nice high ceilings. Very nice that... More

The management/owner of this hotel is not interested in pleasing customers but only making ££. In turn she lost all 5 customers on Tuesday evening. I stay in hotels all over v regularly for business, and this was probably the worst hotel experience in 15 yrs…. Poor dated rooms, reminded us all of care homes that were in desperate need... More

Dear Jacqueline/ DOUCH TV Production Limited Unfortunately, the Grange Moor Hotel has no policy to give customers a free room as a result of the room size not meeting their expectations. I was the Duty Manager on the day you checked in. My receptionist reported that you booked a twin room and were unhappy about our twin room size. My... More

We ate at the hotel, the breakfast was excellent value at only £5 a head and the evening meals were nicely cooked and were''t reheated frozen food. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The hotel... More

Travelling alone on business it is great to find a hotel where one feels so totally "at home". The staff were friendly, the room clean, the evening meal superb and breakfast of the same quality. I couldn't praise this lovely privately owned hotel highly enough and will definitely stay here again when next in the area.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night for a meeting we had in Maidstone. I was recommended this hotel on TA. The staff are very friendly and obliging, we left our car in the car park for the day and checked in later, early evening. The room we had was booked as a double, but asked at reception if... More

If stars are awarded for accommodation and presentation alone, then this hotel deserves it 3 star rating. However, if they are awarded for staff friendliness/helpfulness and the quality of the food, then it should be 7 stars. The staff that I encountered were all very friendly and helpful and the food, well, that was to die for. The only criticism... More
