Myself and my husband stayed here overnight as we are relocating to Maidstone and had a busy day viewing properties. Check in was quick and easy and friendly helpful staff. We stayed in room 3 which overlooked the front seating area. The room itself was very cosy, nice soft bed good size bathroom with shower. We didn't eat in the... More

At £67.99 inc breakfast on a pre-Xmas Friday night, i thought this represented better value than the Premier Inn / Travelodge options. The room was very roomy and the bathroom etc was okay, but the bed was uncomfortable for me. All in all, not bad for the money.

My party had 2 large rooms, one more of a suite with a separate seating area. we had travelled down from Norfolk to go onto France the next day and wanted a reasonable hotel with food in a good location. This is ideal, the location is off the main drag and close to the railway station. it is a fabulous... More

I was hunting through Innkeepers listings and stumbled upon this lovely old building in Maidstone. As we wanted to go to Canterbury the next day I thought it would be a real treat to stay in an old Colonial-style barracks from 1796. It was fabulous from the outside and not disappointing on the inside. Very sympathetically restored with lots of... More

We stopped here on the way to Dover, and had a staff discount so got the rooms for a very reasonable rate. They were quaint and well furnished. We got rooms 1 & 3, the former being very large. You get tea & coffee facilities in the room, a small TV, desk etc. The bathroom, although a little dated had... More

When we arrived, we were greeted by a very welcoming gentleman who informed us that the heat was out but they had an engineer on his way. He gave great instructions on how to use the security key, where our room was, and the times for the dining hall. We took the flight of stairs, were easy to climb and... More

I read the reviews of this lodge just before we went, you will see that some are good, some bad. Most of the bad ones mention room 2, which of course is the room we got. My biggest gripe about this room is that despite previous complaints the shower was still rubbish - it wouldn't take much to fix it... More

Wonderful welcome, lovely well equipped room. Parking on site right near the town centre. Food in the restaurant (The White Rabbit) was lovely and well priced. Buffet breakfast was fresh with a huge choice of items. Definitely worth a visit

Although the staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the food was good, the room we occupied let down this establishment. Our room (N°2) was noisy - from traffic noise, a rattling window and a bathroom extractor fan that sounded like an aeroplane! The shower head fixation was held on by one screw, making it difficult to take a shower.... More
