We travelled down to Kent and checked into the Black Horse Inn for 2 nights after stopping over at Thornbury Castle. The accomodation (similar to chalet / cabins) are a few yards(ish) away from the Inn itself and very well presented. We arrived for 2 days and the location was stunning and from the outside all looked good but the room we stayed in (Primrose) needed a re-dec and the bathroom was shabby. This pub is perfect in the winter with the open fire and lovely in summer. Every time i have eaten at this pub the food has been outstanding. The service is excellent. Stayed just recently as a get away break, very close to Leeds Castle which was also part of the attraction as well as good reviews.
