The room was very poor, dirty carpets. The bedding was full of holes as if it had not been change for years. There was something in the ceiling which was making a banging sound every four seconds. Then you had to put up with the drunken yobs coming back from town shouting, screaming and being very nosey. All in all... more

The entrance is very shabby. Rooms very dark and gloomy with horrible stains on the carpets, looks like the old fashioned bed spreads haven't been washed since the judges stayed there! Needs £1000's spent to make it presentable Either no hot water or no cold water...never both Ear splitting noise from the very busy road within inches of the property... more

Stayed at the hotel for one night for a business meeting. Location is great being right on the edge of the town centre with fast food outlets and restaurants close by. Reception was friendly. The room was of an ok size and clean with trouser press etc. Shower took a little bit of control, it was difficult to get the... more

I attended a charity event at the hotel in October for Breast Cancer but unfortunately although the event was fantastic the hotel let the whole evening down. I don't understand why people who don't smile work in a hotel and why the same drinks cost a different amount each time. Not to mention the fact that the hotel ran out... more

Booked a room for my daughter and grandchildren on the occasion of a family wedding, primarily so that after a very long drive to get to the venue they could have nice hot baths/showers and get ready for the reception at their leisure. Imagine their disappointment when they found their was no hot water available. The reason given for this... more

Good, average hotel for the Maidstone area. We stayed at this hotel for a friends birthday and they catered very well for us. Our room was clean, a little dark, but to be honest we weren't really in it very much. The shower was good and the bed comfy. We had drinks in the evening and they looked after us,... more

Food - AWFUL Service - AWFUL Rooms - Dirty and AWFUL The Manager - South African i think - did not have a clue, didn't know the menu, didn't know anything about the local area, had to call the waiter when I asked him about the wine list. The main road (about 6 feet from the hotel window) was intrusive,... more
