This was a romantic getaway earlier this year. The place is really stunning! Got a flight to London Gatwick and from there hired a private driver that took us to Maidstone. From there, rented a car for the whole week. Leeds castle in Kent is one of the leading attractions in this area of England. A former castle, an old... More

An incredibly romantic setting, stunning views, helpful friendly staff , the Catherine de Valois is probably the best room for views and ambiance. We had the entire Tower to ourselves . Some lovely nice little touches in the room .

I booked into the Maiden's Tower for a Birthday/Anniversary treat for me and my wife. Found the whole experience from arriving to leaving easy and relaxing. The room itself was lovely with stunning views of the castle and surrounding landscape. We did try the bath for two and it was just great. Its a shame it rained constantly from the... More

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in the Maiden's Tower in Catherine de Valois suite overlooking the castle. Perfect setting for celebrating our anniversary and fulfilling my wish to stay in a castle! Almost empty in the evening once the castle had shut to the public (and we think we had the entire Castle Island to ourselves). We explored the vast... More

A wonderful nights stay at Leeds Castle, on our two previous stays we have stayed in one of the Court yard rooms. This timehow ever we had been upgraded to the Maidens Tower. We had the Joan of Navarre room. Very nice. We had as slight problem with the coffee maker but it was immediately changed & we were given... More

I stayed in the Joan of Navarre room in the Maiden's Tower. This appears to be the smallest of the Maiden's Tower rooms, and looks across the moat to the Stables Courtyard, but is still charged at £240/night which is the same as the larger rooms with a castle view. On arrival, I checked in and was taken (with another... More

Dear Guest, After reading the review of your stay in the Joan of Navarre room I would firstly like to thank you for taking the time to post the comprehensive account of your stay in the Maidens Tower and indeed the visit to Leeds Castle Estate and of the restaurant. Your review contained both positive and negative points that I... More

Before I review the accommodation/venue allow me to review their Wedding arrangements. I attended a family wedding on a Thursday. The wedding ceremony was due to begin at 2pm. Rooms in the Maiden's Tower are available from 12 noon, whilst in the Stable Courtyard it is 1pm. None of the guests were able to get into the Stable Courtyard rooms... More

I had been dying to stay at Leeds Castle as part of a tour of Kent. The only problem being the short lead in time for bookings when I was trying to organise the tour several months in advance. Bookings are only taken eight weeks in advance for the Stable Courtyard rooms and four weeks for the Maiden Tower. However... More

I'm sure this is a wonderful place to stay.....if you manage to book! I completely understand the need to only take bookings 4 weeks prior to the date of stay. I called 4 weeks before, then again later in the week as requested, then again a day later as requested. Then I gave up! Someone promised to call me back... More

Booked a one night stay which came with the benefit of being able to be on the castle grounds for 2 days. The setting is unique and when the very few day guests disappeared it felt like you were on your own private estate. I haven't heard silence like that for a long time. Our room was warm, clean and...
