Opted for the "Upper Deck" rooms for a little bit more comfort. The rooms are fine for the purposes of business but I wouldn't choose to come here for any form of pleasurable break. The key feature of this hotel are the excellent gym facilities which really are the quality of an independent gym making this the reason I select... More

I normally like village hotels (5 stayed at so far). My gripes are that I found the parking to be a pain, I do see why they might need a parking management company to help them out as I saw non blue badge holders park in the disabled bays, and vans parked across the front of the hotel not in... We only stayed over night so we didn't use many facilities or anything, but we had a good sleep and a nice stay. Staff were pleasant and rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is close to the town but right on a busy main road.

A nice looking place from the out side, poor parking had to carry my bags for ages, the room was very basic with poor tv picture, dust everywhere and a broken heater & the bathroom God don't get me started ! O and the phone didn't work I stayed in room 142 where you can hear everything from the room... More

Decor - tired and worn looking in too many areas. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and tidy, but clearly in need of a revamp and overhaul. It all looks very "used". Beds good, very comfortable. Hotel does offer better rooms (UpperDeck) but they seem to be refurbished and with better TV channels (see below) rather than larger. Not sure they offer... More

Stayed here last night for valentines. Firstly booking, we visited for a drink a few weeks back and asked at reception about booking the meal/room deal they were offering. Reception said they couldn't book it and took my number. Nobody called. We booked online and we decided to eat in the restaurant last Sunday as we had a weekend to... More

This was once a pretty good hotel, with decent enough rooms, a reasonable, if slightly tacky bar, and a good gym. Unfortunately, all of the above have gone downhill noticeably in the last year or so. Decor and bedrooms are looking very dated and don't feel comfortable, with bathrooms really in need of attention. The bath panel was actually hanging... More

This hotel wasn't built when I was last in Maidstone, in fact it was all just fields (how old do I sound?). It wasn't the cheapest hotel but I booked because of the leisure facilities. Being a stop over I wanted to relax on arrival and before moving on the following day and it fulfilled this purpose brilliantly. Check in... More

Lovely weekend away. I have been here twice now and loved it. Great food and the pool n spa are brilliant. When you pay you can pay a extra pound and get a 3 course meal when u first arrive. All in all a lovely chilled experience.

Stayed just for a Saturday night a couple of weks ago. Arrived early evening after a long drive in frosty weather to find a large party going on in the restaurant. Very noisy and was told at reception that the restaurant was closed - luckily we didn't want a meal anyway. Room up on 2nd floor at front and was... More
