This was the second time I had stayed at the Village Maidstone and again it was a pleasant experience.. The hotel is close to the M20 and does suffer some traffic noise. Living close to a bypass at home I do not find this a problem. Check-In was quick and efficient and the room was clean. The hotel offers free... more

I have stayed at this hotel on quite a few occasions and have always had a clean room, great food and polite staff. I have been there during a fire alarm before, however it happens (usually by thoughtless guests tampering with smoke detectors) and this particular time it was dealt with efficiently. We have dined in the restaurant several times... more

Nice hotel, stayed there on recommendation. Not overly impressed on arrival, the staff where not overly friendly but it was a comfortable and clean room altho freezing cold. We had attended a wedding reception that evening and returned back to the Hotel around 2am. At approximately 4.30am the fire alarm went off, all guests evacuated the building and a member... more

We stayed at this Hotel after a Christmas party and found the room clean and comfortable. The pillows were also extremely comfortable and I am fussy!! It was warm in the room but I was greatful because of the time of year. We are planning to stay in the hotel on our wedding night in May 2008 and we're certainly... more

Fair sized room for 4 – very stuffy after a while. Usual size double bed but very small second family bed – our 6 year old found it short and our 14 year old was insulted!! Usual TV channels and good power shower but ….. Major drawback of the room was the generating power unit over the pool/leisure complex which... more

First the good; new (ish) hotel, great leisure club with a huge swimming pool, Costa coffee shop in the hotel, decent steak in the restaurant, free Wi Fi broadband, good location and lots of parking. Now the bad; housekeeping standards in the rooms poor (I have stayed here 3 times and same each time), poor bed and hard pillows, service... more

11 of us had a golfing weekend arranged through a golf website which was an excellant deal. The hotel is idealy suited for our needs close to courses etc. The rooms are small but adequate, however they are possibly the warmest rooms we have ever stayed in bearing in mind that it was end of Sept. Both evenings we dined... more

I agree with other reviews about the awful restaurant - slow service, mediocre food, overpriced, but the rest of the hotel was fine. There were one or two niggles such as no covers on the spare pillows and very strange kettles which repeatedly switched off and on, taking about 15 minutes to come to to the boil, but the girls... more

This hotel is EXCELLENT. I stay here regulary and am the most fussiest of travellers. Ok the food was no good for the last traveller but that should not reflect on the rest of the hotel Great location and rooms, very new looking with excellent leisure facilities. I cannot fault. Mr Mander more

Thought I would use this hotel for a meal on our wedding anniversary - prelude to booking a south-eastern conference for my boss and my daughter's forthcoming wedding next year! What an awful place! The restaurant manager was more interested in a table where there were pretty girls sitting than my husband and I - waited for our starters for... more
