Absolutely beautiful place to stay . Grounds are some of the best ever and so well maintained . Room was a little small for £120 pounds and it did need some updating . Carpet needs re fitting and storage space was inadequate . That said we had a lovely time the highlight being the fabulous grounds with which to walk... More

If you drive check to see if "operation Stack" is happening on the M20 - which jams up all the... More

Lovely room with large very clean and comfortable bed, great modern bathroom with double ended bath. Our view was over the golf course not the castle which was a shame however we stayed on a Friday night and a wedding party was due on the Saturday so we had the benefit of beautiful flowers arranged up the historic wooden stair... Stayed in the Blue Room, Our Host Jennie could not be more helpful, her and all the staff from the guys on the parking who ushered us up to our parking for the Classical concert event were always smiling and obliging. The room had a giant bed in the shape of a sofa with a separate shower/bathroom and we also... More

Stayed two nights with my wife and 15 year old son. The room was very clean, tastefully decorated, plenty big enough, and equipped with the best quality of everything you could want . I cannot and do not want to find fault but will add a couple of hints for fellow travellers Check in can get a little stressed due... More

Spend a bit more and get a whole lot more in return. The Maiden's Tower is that special place to stay, within the Castle's walls. Very comfortable and lovely to look down on the moat. Wonderful walking around after everyone has gone home and before everyone arrives in the morning. Dinner at the Great British Kitchen - pretty average and... More

We had booked the room in the stable courtyard with dinner and breakfast package. The room was very clean and spacious with all the amenities. The room had a beautiful four poster bed and was overlooking the pond. The dinner and breakfast both were excellent. The team had set up the dinner and breakfast table overlooking the castle. We could... More

Stayed for two nights in one of the Stable Courtyard rooms - fantastic. Free access to the castle throughout and you can wander around the grounds after all the other visitors have left. Dinner at the Great British Kitchen was very pleasant, with great food and very professional staff. In addition to the castle itself there are lots of other... More
