Beautifully located with an incredible view on Leeds castle. The staff was all very accommodating, helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and it was a great bonus for our 4 year old son to be able to use all of the facilities such as the playground and being able to visit the castle as you wish. Breakfast was... More

Took wife for birthday here, had a lovely double in stables with four poster, and excellent meal in fair fax hall. Wsh I had upgraded to maidens court to be in castle grounds but another time! Rooms we modern, quiet, place was empty which was what we wanted and liked. Dinner excellent although the DBB deal wasn't totally clear before... More

Yes it is a B&B, its not that cheap and yes you do have your card debited immediately you book but it is a fantastic unique place to stay even if you don't visit the castle and very helpful staff especially Nikki (thank you). Having stayed there on a business trip my German colleague was bowled over by the stay.... More

Our friends were getting married in the castle and we stayed in the stable courtyard for one night. I wish it was for longer. The room was very spacious and comfortable and quite close to the castle itself. For the wedding and reception, the castle was closed to visitors and we allowed to relax in the stately rooms during the... More

Wonderful place. We slept in the stable courtyard during a stormy night. It was incredibly suggestive. The restaurant is great as well, good food with good price. Fish and chips delicious and an enormous and very good chicken pie. Worth to reserve in advance. I recommend the tea in the afternoon with home made scones or carrot cake. Very suggestive... More

On booking the Stable Courtyard rooms regardless of whether this is direct or not the full cost will be debited immediately. This is not a bad thing just something to be aware of. You can cancel rooms up until 48 hours before and any refund is completed quickly. The entrance to the Stable courtyard rooms is separate from the main... More

Stayed here for two nights. All staff very friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed and comfy. Was the coldest nightbof the yearvso far but heating very good. Ate in restaraunt twice. Menu a little limited and probably a couple of pounds per head higher than elsewhere. But what a backdrop looking at the castle. Was over charged for... More
