When we arrived at the Travelodge in Maidstone, there was no parking space; 2 Travelodge vans occupying disabled spaces and 2 further Travelodge vans taking up regular spaces.. We had to go into reception to find out that Asda is used as an overflow car park, simply enter your reg number on the touchpad in reception, useful to know beforehand.... More

Stayed here with a hen party. Rooms were basic - need renovating to be on par with other travelodge's I have stayed at, although very clean. Light in bathroom went mid shower. Shower curtain not long enough to sit inside shower tray so flooded the bathroom when showering. Reception staff not very friendly. I asked if they did room service... More

I booked this travel lodge as you normally know what you are going to get for your money. It was a hen night, so really only needed for sleeping. Unfortunately we all struggled to sleep ( 3 of us in separate beds) due to both feeling the springs digging into our ribs and the noise of a loud group running... More

Friendly professional staff. Very helpful and ready to find answers to our many questions. Rooms are minimal, but clean, comfy, quiet and we had everything we needed. Improvements are being made and rooms on our floor being painted. I was bothered with the paint odor as I have asthma. They immediately moved me to another room that was bright and... More

We booked to stay in Maidstone Central Travelodge before staying in one in Guildford. If we hadn't we would not have booked as Guildford was a disgrace, dirty and noisy. Maidstone Central, despite being very near a busy roundabout was nice and quiet and the breakfast and staff excellent

I chose this hotel 'cos it was cheap and near the venue of a course I was on. So I wasn't expect 5 star luxury - all I wanted was a clean room and a comfy bed. Hotel is fine - located just across the river from the City Centre - unfortunately the river had flooded a few weeks ago... More

This is a fairly modern Travelodge with a bar cafe downstairs. It's five minute walk from Maidstone town centre but suffers slightly from the proximity to the large roundabout and the noise it generates. Staff all excellent and very helpful

I stayed at the Maidstone Central Travelodge on Wednesday 12th March for one night. The reception staff were professional and very welcoming. The room was functional and clean. When I needed some local information staff were happy to help. The restaurant was clean and the food was fine for breakfast with varied choices. Overall for a budget hotel my experience... More

This hotel is the most architecturally interesting of any Travelodge I have stayed in - take a look at the pictures. It's very large and seems to be well run. The staff are helpful and friendly but not intrusive. The rooms are a good size and everything seems to work. My only complaint is that the bathroom sink is so... More
