Good value for money hotel for one or several nights. While in need of some refurbishment - I understand Travelodge have a rolling programme for this - it was more than adequate, with large comfortable rooms. Reception staff were most polite and accommodating, as ever at Travelodge. The hotel is attached to a Toby Carvery which provides excellent value for... More

We stayed here while visiting the area and before going received a call from the hotel to ask if there were any special requests for our stay. Never had this from a Travelodge before and was much appreciated. On arrival found plenty of parking , even for a Sunday. Reception clean and staff very friendly. Room was comfortable and had... Stayed here Thursday night with the family prior to visiting Gullivers mainly because it was cheap.....don't normally expect a lot from travelodge as most I have stayed in have warranted a complaint of some sort. ....However on first impressions this seemed to be different until late at night I was woken by music being played loudly.....then again at about 6... The hotel is well situated and parking was not a problem. The building needs a full refurbishment and I understand one is planned but it cannot come soon enough. Hotel staff were OK but not brilliant brand ambassadors. I booked 3 rooms and all were equally well worn with bathrooms to match; there was a fault in each of the... More

One of the older travelodges which is schedule for upgrading. Spotlessly clean, very friendly and welcoming staff. Receptionist Nicky was particularly helpful offering us the use of their conference room in which to leave our bicycles securely overnight. Great service, nothing too much trouble. Would visit again.

We had a lovely comfortable stay here, the staff were very helpful, and locked our bicycles in a meeting room overnight so that they were safe. They were also very helpful, sharing information about local facilities and giving us directions for our onward journey. Would definitely recommend!

The hotel is clean and welcoming. I have stayed in many Travelodge hotels and they are all relatively clean places. This one was really nice inside and out though. The only disappointing thing was that they got my booking wrong. I asked for, and had booking confirmation for a twin room as i was staying with a friend before a... More

In the past I have chosen not to stay with Travelodge as I found them a run down and a bit depressing. On this occasion however I had no choice and was pleasantly surprised. The bed was very comfy, the room was clean and although furnishings a bit basic we had everything we needed. Milk etc. was available in the... More
