I stayed at this hotel for two nights every week in August during a work placement in Milton Keynes. The location is fantastic, especially for solo travellers. There's a Sainsbury's five minutes away and plenty of restaurants to choose from as you walk out the hotel doors and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself could... More

Stayed in Room 630 on 13 / 14 Aug 2014. Plaster was falling of wall above bed, internet provision was hopelss and in the morning I discovered a used tampon under the bed so the rooem had not been cleaned properly. Unnaceptable for a 3* hotel charging £125 a night.

The staff are really friendly and the service is great, however the rooms are starting to become a little tired now. The other issue is I don't know what the stink is in the right hand lift, whether it's a toilet overflow or they have the drain vent in the lift shaft but some mornings I'd rather walk the stairs... If you get a good price - £50 or less per night - then this hotel is good. More than that I'd look elsewhere. I would liken it to a Travelodge or Premier Inn. The good: - Helpful staff - Hotel and room clean (but note several markings up walls etc) - Breakfast/dinner options onsite albeit the latter relatively expensive... More

Stayed here for four nights 4/08/14 with David Urquhart tours and had a very nice stay the room was clean and comfortable and the staff helpful nothing was a trouble. There was a good selection of bars and restaurants close to the hotel and a shopping centre with in 5 minutes walk. The only down side was the restaurant staff... More

Just returned from 1 night stay at this hotel. Definitely would not go back and would not recommend. We booked an executive double room. What a dissappoinment. -bed too small (website picture looks discieving) - no carpet. Just wooden floor and it creaks. - bed uncomfortable and it creaks too. - no bath. It has a wet room. And I... Apparently too much trouble what an attitude. Food took 2hours to serve soup was cold, potatoes hard vegetables hard and raw. Had to eat dinner outwith Hotel in restaurants, driver of the... More

£95 room only for a room more basic than you'd find in the Travelodge which is not far from this hotel. The floor in my room creaked and was in need if maintenance. I asked if I could borrow an iron but was told they'd all been stolen! First time in 17 years of hotels that I've not been able... More

The hotel is well located for central Milton Keynes, but what shocked me was how basic it was for the price. The bed was fine but the mattress was thin and there was no cupboards. Breakfast was also adequate but nothing great. While I was checking in two other customers had been misbooked - one into a smoking room and... More
