The rooms were nicely decorated, the beds were very comfortable and there was ample car parking. While the hotel food and drink was expensive, there's a pub nearby that does serve reasonably priced food and drink. Despite booking months ago and reserving non-smoking rooms, we got smoking rooms that stank to high heaven. The hotel was full so there was... more

I stayed here one night, and won't be returning. From the outside it looks nice enough, but the bedroom was like a travel lodge, with a cheap mattress and a bathroom suite that looked like it had been borrowed from a caravan. Also, they don't leave any extra pillows in the room, so if two aren't enough, you have to... more

Everything was fine with this hotel, we booked here for one night so that we could do some post christmas shopping. The Room was clean and freshe with good storage facilities and good choice of TV channels - there were even some european channels for international guests. The hotel had a nice modern bar and the leisure facilities looked good... more

I stayed for one night. I left my room for 9 minutes to order room service and a drink. During this time someone entered my room using the duty managers key and removed my cheque card and driving licence and some cash. The card was then used to remove £1600 from my account. The Hotel themselves told me the Duty... more

My husband and I were very impressed with our stay at the Novotel. We were particularly impressed by the size of the room and the facilities there like a safe, ironing board, plenty of storage space, nice little toiletries. It seemed quiet. Having booked our room 2 days before on laterooms.com we paid reasonable price (£49) for what was a... more
