I stayed at the Central MK Travelodge for one night as it was easier and cheaper for me to stay over than get a taxi home. I was dubious about the stay after reading other reviews, but the hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was large and the bed was very comfy. I heard no other noise from around the... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in February. It is a fairly standard Travelodge but has been refurbished to a new standard. The room was quite large and clean as a new pin. It is in a very good location and easy walk to the hub or just a bit further to the Centre. Overall, I'd stay again..

We turned up at around 14:30 and was rudely asked "name", not "hi there and welcome to the travelodge, I hope your journey was pleasant" or something like that. Then she said "one night?" Then "where have you parked because you need this ticket if you're parked out the back" really short wth us for no reason. We then had... More

This review was probably the hardest to do. The positive: - 5min walking from central station and restaurants, room and bathroom were good, clean, with lots of space, bed was comfortable, internet worked perfectly, you have tea an coffee in the room; The negative: - hallway of hotel very dirty, no breakfast (you could have a "box of juice cereal... Surprised to find that this Travelodge does not have a bar or restaurant - I was perhaps incorrectly assuming that all Travelodges have them. A card in the room advised that a very limited, simple range of snacks, or breakfast items were available by request to reception. A helpful receptionist pointed me in the direction of a nearby Wetherspoons pub.... More

In October I stayed at Travelodge with my fiancé for two nights. Overall the room was great, the location was great and the service was even better. One night we went and asked the receptionist how to get around town as we weren't familiar with our location. She stopped doing what she was doing and handed a tour guide with... More

It's a Travelodge - it's basic and it's no-frills. However, it is central, it is cheaper than other hotels in the area (although on the pricey side for a Travelodge). It's also clean and tidy so it suits me for business travel. There are parking spaces, if you get there early enough, otherwise you are at the mercy of the... More

The most important thing to know about this Travelodge is that it is frequently over-booked and it's therefore important to not leave it until late to arrive. In the event you will be offered alternative accommodation, but it's not something I'd want at the end of a long day - especially if I'd been travelling. Great location if you need... More

Whilst this Travelodge was clean etc. it just gave the external impression of being a hostel and the internal impression of being built in the 70's and left in the 70's. I'm sure Coventry Station used the same tiles as this Travelodge's bathrooms. Just no warmth.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2015

I stayed in this hotel in Jan 2015 for an overnight business trip, only because Jurys and the Ramada were fully booked. The hotel appears to have been relatively recently refurbished and is certainly clean and well presented. The rooms are like any other in this chain, with plenty of space in them. Slightly disappointing is that there are no... More
