Booked a privilege room for 4 nights July 15 as going to Silverstone for f1, checking in left a lot to be desired as staff tried to overcharge, room was lovely however had to request housekeeping as tea coffee not refilled. Ordered room service on one night and we're charged £110 for one portion of fishpond chips, have to say... More

Have used Mercure group before and therefore did not expect any problems. Checked in ok to our previously booked Privilidge Room. That night I was unable to reduce the heat in the room via the air conditioning thermostat and also unable to close the radiator, therefore the room remained very hot and humid all night. That night is snowed heavily... More

went to a wedding on 6 February and was extremely impressed by the helpfulness and professionalism. The food at the wedding was very good - food at breakfast was well prepared and presented but hot enough. The lounge is pleasant - only problem was that getting up from the sofas for many was not easy! Seats need to be a... More

This place is OK. The main building is quite cosy for a chat and a drink in the evening. I've never had an evening meal here, but the breakfast is quite nice (choice of various good things - eggs florentine always makes a nice change). This time I stayed in the main building, in a standard double. It was fine.... More

I booked a privilege room but there were no bathrobes. We told reception about this 3 times over our 2 night stay and each time they promised to send some up but they didn't arrive. Only found out when we checked out that they were having problems with their supplier and there were none at all in the hotel! Receptionist... More

This hotel is in a lovely location for Milton Keynes and the staff where very helpful and polite.... But that's it really, the room was awful. First of all the light switches in the headboard where broken and to make it worse behind the pillows!! The bed was fit for the skip so hardly slept and if one of you... More

I booked the Parkside Hotel for our Christmas party after the last few years at the Hilton. The venue was nicely presented and is well managed. We got a bit of a shock to find out we were in a marque when this had not been mentioned when booking but it was warm and the blacked out ceilings with twinkle... More

The Mercure Parkside proved to be a perfect spot to spend the night when traveling through Milton Keynes. It is out of the way in a quiet residential area and backs out onto the very large Ouzel Valley Park. It's hard to believe you're in a town of almost 250,000 people. We had a superior double and the room was... More

Stayed here on business twice now. Each time the rooms were fantastic. Very clean, good linen and towels. The staff are all very helpful and nice. But the bar menu is quite limited. When I stay again, I will eat at the pub just down the road. Look forward to my next stay with you. Thanks
