The atmosphere when we arrived was less then welcoming. We were simply pointed in the direction of the lift to find our room. Once arriving in our room we found the cleaning standards not to be that of a 4 star hotel. The bed itself was unbelievably uncomfortable every time we moved in the bed the other felt like they... Stayed recently with a group of 6 on a hen do. It was mostly fine but let down by little details such as tea and coffee in the rooms not being replenished on our second day, running out of tea pots at breakfast along with a general sense of chaos, running out of various things in the restaurant including prosecco... Visited here as we had a deal for a spa and afternoon tea. Spa is dated and needs a good refurb. No towels or slippers as advertised were available, rust in changing rooms around the changing benches, very small area to get changed, very limited facilities. Afternoon tea was average, I would of made a complaint if I had been... More

We were attending a family wedding, so as a treat we thought we would book into a 4 Star Hotel. Wish we had stayed with the rest of the family at the Premier Inn, instead! After a very long journey from Yorkshire & being stuck on M40 for nearly 2 hours all we wanted to do was check in, have... More

My husband and I stayed 13th -15th February. We had booked an Ambassador room. On arrival at reception we were greeted by a lovely gentleman who gave us our card key but not before asking how many keys we required. The room itself was wonderful. We had a bath and separate shower unfortunately the drainage from the shower does make... More

Stayed overnight for Valentines 2015 - meal with Dirty Dancing tribute entertainment. Nice 3 course meal and the show was great. We had a studio room that gave us plenty of space and had a comfortable bed. Staff are very friendly and polite. The hotel was clean and well appointed. Good location just off M3 and hotel has plenty of... More

I stay here a few times a year for business. Always clean, warm and comfortable .. Food is nice, staff friendly and I have never had any issues. Nice atmosphere, drinks a tad expensive but overall and compared to some places I have stayed I would recommend

Stayed here with a couple of friends as a last minute getaway. The hotel doesn't look much from the outside but looks can be deceiving. We paid an extra few pounds for a suite which was well worth it as we had a lounge with a sofa bed and a separate room with a huge double bed. Our room was... More

We visited the spa and had afternoon tea as part of voucher deal. We were NOT warmly greeted and were made to feel stupid/like we'd done something wrong, by the lady on reception, not very friendly at all. Waitress was very nice and friendly however. Spa experience was ok, very small changing area, floor soaking wet etc. Nice jacuzzi and... More
