The reception area and bar lull you into a false impression of this hotel, they are modern and clean, but then you get into the bedrooms which are dated and to be honest a bit dirty. The pool area was also a little unloved. If you want cooked breakfast great, if not the continental selection is second rate and almost... More

Took my daughter here for a birthday treat and I would never go back. We arrived at 1030 and went for a swim, the pool is very small, we didn't manage to get in the jacuzzi as to busy. Once we finished in the pool my daughter had her nails painted which were very nice, my massage was nice however... More

The first impression is good: the hotel has a big pool and for local standards a good restaurant. The disappointment comes with the room : small, tiny bathroom and old fashion dusty decoration. I found a dirty men underwear on the floor of my bathroom which confirmed my doubts on the quality of the household. I complained at the reception... More

I'll start with the good. The hotel reception, bar and dining areas are very well presented and clean. All the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. I ordered room service, taxi and booked breakfast (as I forgot to tick the button when booking) all with no fuss. I requested a quiet room after a busy 6 month of work for... More

We only stayed one night and arrived late on Saturday evening, which was no issue at all. A smallish but pleasant double room, with a nice bathroom (great power shower), and a comfortable bed. Excellent (if huge!) breakfast delivered to the room. Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is convenient for the M3 and A34. Didn't use the... More

Booked with spabreaks.com and stayed for one night this weekend with my partner. Generally, this hotel is good! But elements of it make it a little hit and miss. FOR EXAMPLE the breakfast buffet is to die for but the evening meal in the brasserie didn't offer any choice or decent sized portions (see picture of five pieces of pasta)... More

I only stayed at the hotel for one night as I was away on business. The hotel is an easy find, right on a main route and roundabout, and there are plenty of car parking spaces. Disabled bays are directly at the front of the hotel reception. Reception area was clean and welcoming, and the restaurant entrance is there too... More

We booked the Apollo through spabreaks.com, for dinner, bed & breakfast on a Saturday, for a last minute getaway. I'd booked it in a rush as it was the last room available, so afterwards I checked out some of the reviews, and began to wonder if I'd done the right thing! Bad review after bad review. We arrived at the... More

This hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel, but in reality it is "only just" a 3 star. The "Exectutive Room" was small and tired looking (smaller than some budget hotels). There was paint peeling off the surfaces and the furniture looks like it's been there for 20+ years. The carpet was so old you could see the paths... More

Asked reception to pre book a taxi for a very important night out, Taxi was not booked as the night manager checked and confirmed this thus making a knock on effect for the rest of the evening, also a member of the F&B team at breakfast was extremely rude and did not want to co-operate when we asked for stronger...
