Nice quiet stay wonderful bed I didnt want to get out of and a great powerful shower. Very polite helpful staff a credit to holiday inn. Would definitely stay there again. Found a brilliant local pub in Cliddesden about a 20 minute walk with fab meals and great range of beers. The Jolly Farmer well worth a visit.

The building looks a bit like an old peoples home. Plenty of car park space. Exceptionally friendly welcome. Fast and efficient check-in. Room was on ground floor. Pleasant but, perhaps, could have been cleaner. Not sparkling clean (if you know what I mean). Bathroom has a bath tub and reasonable (but low - so mind your head) shower. Beds were... More

A one night stay in August 2014. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. You could hear doors slamming and creaking as people walked around on the floor above. 2 other guests repeatedly used the door to the rear car park to smoke and chat until the early hours. Unfortunately our room was near the door on the ground floor and the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst working at an event nearby. There are lots of plus's and a couple of negatives. First the plus points: All of the the staff that we had any contact with in every department were truly excellent and a credit to the property. It would difficult (and a little unfair) to choose anyone over anyone... More

Stayed one night in room 113 on a Rewards rate so it was free but no breakfast included in June 2013. The room was a standard Holiday Inn with a mini bar but BBC1 did not work properly and the toilet roll holder was on the floor. Booked this to see Nigel Kennedy at the Anvil but walked out halfway... Stayed for 1 night as an overnight stop for a business trip. My booking was a bit last minute so I was happy to accept what I could get and ended up in a disabled room, but at a very good price. I’m quite happy with a disabled room – I just get paranoid that I will accidentally pull an... More

I stayed here several times on business. The hotel is quite comfortable although some of the rooms are being refurbished at the moment. The new ones are great - the old ones not so it is a bit of pot luck. There is no gym but you can run in the Festival Park. Rooms have air conditioning - a rarity... More
