Stayed at the Hilton for one night on a Friday, checking out on a Saturday. The hotel is located ideally just off the M3 in a secluded area, making any road noise non existent. The Hilton is around a 10-15 minute walk into the town centre, which is home to a very good shopping centre and restaurant complex. Upon arrivial,... More

Stayed here this past weekend during the hot weather. The rooms have no air conditioning and were absolutely baking. I had a ground floor room, and the large window would open no more than six inches which was ridiculous. The room had been left with the curtains closed and a large fan on full blast before I arrived but made... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting a review on Trip Advisor. When the hotel was built there was no requirement for hotel establishments in the UK to have air conditioning, however with the prospect of a warmer climate with increasing temperatures it will be a consideration for any major structural work that may be carried out in the future. We... More

A Hilton hotel brings images of luxury and decadence. This hotel was dirty, tatty and not customer focusssed at all. Def would not stay here again. The wine was nearly £10 per glass which was extortionate.

Old, tired 1970s hotel. Over priced and with out dated values and quality of service. The gym is like a cupboard and rooms do not have a/c. The hotel is definitely in need of a wake up call. the restaurant is basic but the food is ok

Business travel. Good access, Great restaurant meals the night of my stay. Was somewhat pricey but probably pushed up by the Farnborough air show. Room was OK, shaver socket not working and fabric needs updating. Hilton brand seems stuck though, an expensive name but far removed from the distinctive high quality of the past. Cheery staff in the evening restaurant... More

I stayed at the Hilton Basingstoke in July and I found the hotel average at best. The hotel seamed very dated and charging £15 for a night for wifi was a little to much considering the nearly £100 room rate. The food was nice but it was a strange menu however the breakfast was much better. I had previously stayed... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting a review on the Trip Advisor website and your comments are noted. Free WiFi is available in the lounge/bar but is chargable in bedrooms. However we are currently trialling free wifi in bedrooms in our hotels in Scotland and if successful this amenity will be rolled out to other Hiltons in the UK. Thank... More

We were staying as it was our daughters wedding reception . Our room was ok ,but not what you would expect from a Hilton hotel, the mattress has definitely seen better days ! With two distinct dips in it from old age & over use... The carpet has humps in it which could almost be a trip hazard ! The rest... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting a review on the Trip Advisor website. Your feedback regarding your room is noted and I am pleased that you appreciated the fact that we are a dog friendly hotel.
