“OK for a short stay”

This hotel is near to the centre of Basingstoke and very handy for access to the centre withou having to drive and park. For the type of hotel perhaps a little more expensive than I am used to but is is clean, warm and friendly.

The initial impression is good. The place is smart, nicely decorated, and appeared spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. But.... The bed was just about the most uncomfortable we've ever (not) slept in. The mattress was extremely soft to the point of offering virtually no support, we tended to roll together in the middle of the bed, disturbing... More

when ever me and my freinds go to basingstoke we always stay at the fernbank hotel, the room's are spotles very clean hotel, the beds are comfy, and the owners are very freindly, evan under the bed you wouldent find a crum, i highly recommend this place, dont judge it by the pictures they dont do it justice,,
