Met up with a group of friends here for lunch. Six of us who all found the food very good, staff were very friendly. A fantastic choice of local real ales served in very pleasant surroundings. Well worth a visit. We are sure to be making a return visit.

Firstly I have nothing really bad to say about The Brewhouse. Maybe I'd set my expectations too high as I'd understood it to have its own on-site micro-brewery (as the name and the website suggests) and was looking forward to sampling some unique beers made on-site. There was a reasonable selection of ales but nothing that I couldn't have bought... More

Found the rooms very small stayed 4 nights. Staff nice be all bluster first morning milk was sour and our breakfast was spoiled. Had a meal of steak and ale pie found it very dry and on complaining I was told I should have ordered the gravy ~as I thought a pie has gravy in it we also had some... More

We only had an overnight stay at this converted brewery which now combines a pub, restaurant and hotel accommodation. The hotel section was close to the car park, which was convenient, and the room itself was nicely decorated, very clean and tidy -as was the en suite-and had all facilities, including a fridge stocked with a generous continental breakfast, even... Modern clean rooms, noise from pub expected, noise from plumbing unexpected! Stayed as it was local to where we were visiting, didn't try the pub. Would have expected cooked breakfast for the price paid. Not recommended for light sleepers as overlooks a road too.

Great accommodation above a friendly pub. Ample parking to the rear. Spacious, comfortable bedroom with a plentiful continental breakfast in the fridge in the room. We did not eat in the pub as we were dining with friends, but the menu looked good. We sat In the bar to watch the football and the atmosphere was friendly and free nibbles were... More

I stayed here last night, on business, my first time at this hotel/pub. I can only say this will become a regular stay for me.
