I do have a couple of gripes, but this is a great little place to stay. Read the whole review please. Stayed here on a Saturday and Sunday night with my husband as he was participating in the Ironman challenge (his second one, the nutter managed to finish again). Very nice welcome upon arrival into the pub and had a... More

I have been doing business in Bolton for the last 4 months and I can promise you that most of the hotels are rubbish. So I took to staying in central Manchester. Wish I'd discovered this earlier. Nice area. Welcoming staff. Great atmosphere. Good food and perfectly ok room. At £50 a night this is good value. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately some of the menu was not available when we arrived. But the service and staff more than made up for any disappointment we may have felt initially. Nothing is too much for the girls here. There has been a menu change recently and small portions have been removed off the menu. I am not not sure If this is... More

Spent 5 nights in this delightful B&B. Easy to find location. Staff is very friendly. You pay upon arrival. Continental breakfast is included which is more than adequate. The breakfast is in the room so you are not tied to any hours.... everything gets replenished daily. The rooms are spacious and with ensuite bathroom: spotless. The only thing which I... More

This is a warm and comfortable pub with a fantastic range of beers from the Dunscar Bridge Brewery (for which the pub is the tap) and other local breweries. The beer is very reasonably priced too. The major drawback is the fact that after 10 0'clock on a weekday the staff make it quite clear that you are no longer... More

Met up with a group of friends here for lunch. Six of us who all found the food very good, staff were very friendly. A fantastic choice of local real ales served in very pleasant surroundings. Well worth a visit. We are sure to be making a return visit.

Firstly I have nothing really bad to say about The Brewhouse. Maybe I'd set my expectations too high as I'd understood it to have its own on-site micro-brewery (as the name and the website suggests) and was looking forward to sampling some unique beers made on-site. There was a reasonable selection of ales but nothing that I couldn't have bought... More

We only had an overnight stay at this converted brewery which now combines a pub, restaurant and hotel accommodation. The hotel section was close to the car park, which was convenient, and the room itself was nicely decorated, very clean and tidy -as was the en suite-and had all facilities, including a fridge stocked with a generous continental breakfast, even...
