Stayed overnight travelling with NATIONAL HOLIDAYS nice, clean hotel, good food, friendly and although other reviews rate this hotel as being in the 'back of beyond' there is a nice pub ' The Three Pigeons' only five minutes walk away. Would stay again without a doubt.

Stayed with my family in a room with a single bed and a double bed. Excellent value for Dinner bed breakfast and bottle of wine package. First room smelt of smoking but the receptionist found us another. (surprised any family rooms were designated smoking) Buffet meals were good. Impressed that the complimentary wine arrived on ice.

Externally, the Britannia Bolton might not have the most exciting frontage and in places it could do with sprucing up but it is presentable enough, has ample parking, is set back from the road and free from traffic noise.
