Holiday Inns' are the hotel/motel equivilent of a McDonalds, in that no matter where you are in the world, at least you know what you'll be getting. They are without doubt overpriced (my room for one night was sixty-eight pounds), which I dare say is down to them being used by a large number of business travellers on expense accounts.... more
