Very tired chain offering. Room (mine was on the 4th floor) small, even by UK standards, large cracks in the walls around the window and the AC extremely noisy.Good location but that's about it. Underground car park is extremely cramped. Buffet breakfast okay but hte eggs were about to hatch due to being under the lamps so long! Internet connection... more

Thank you for taking the time to write a review following your stay at the Hotel. We are in the process of refurbishing our 4th floor bedrooms and have noted your comments. The Hotel has two car parks available to guests one underground as you mention and one outside to the right of the Hotel entrance. The comments you made...

I stayed here for work and thought the location was fantastic. The fact it had a gym and swimming pool was a plus for me too. I only use the gym, which is tiny - but good enough for a decent workout. My biggest issue was the fact my room was dirty - I found hairs on the bathroom floor,... more

The Holiday Inn in central Bolton was suprisingly good!. I drove to the hotel and found they had free secure underground parking - I nice start. At reception I was quickly checked in, the staff were friendly and explained the hotel amenities etc ( it has very nice onsite pool and gym etc). The room had a decent bed, mini... more

i stayed here while my mother was in hospital having an operation.the good points are the central location and the attitude of some but not all the staff some of whom are polite friendly and willing to correct errors. i arrived at 8.15 one evening and was not offered an upgrade or extras even though i am a platinum club... more

Holiday Inns' are the hotel/motel equivilent of a McDonalds, in that no matter where you are in the world, at least you know what you'll be getting. They are without doubt overpriced (my room for one night was sixty-eight pounds), which I dare say is down to them being used by a large number of business travellers on expense accounts.... more

I stay over 100 nights a year in hotels all over the world. I have a Gold Priority card, so used to hotels. This is the worst I have stayed in the last 3 years. Service is beyond my comprehension, waiting staff do not know what is being served, gym staff are asleep on duty, guests are ignored by check... more

Booked for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn and ended up checking out after 1. The room itself was very dingy and tiny for a double and there were numerous cracks and dents along the walls. Ordered a burger and chips for a meal which consisted of a very dry burger and about 5 chips which for the price was... more

I have stayed here a few times and it isn't as good as it was. There isn't a lot of choice in Bolton maybe thats why i go back. Check in was ok. Room was small with badly worn furniture. Dinner - had a very long wait between ordering and eating, food was good. I went down for breakfast in... more
