Having finished work away from home later than expected, i was looking for a hotel in the area that did not charge through the nose for the privilege of not having booked in advance. Late rooms advised me of the regency. i was close, so didn't book, just arrived. I was preparing myself for the "that deal is only on... More

Very reasonably priced, comfort good. Service very helpful and friendly. Breakfast plentiful. Great location for the area or airport. Style and decor are tired, but a stay here depends on what you want.

Myself and my partner stayed before a trip away the following morning for a early flight. When we arrived the kind gentleman stated there was a party happening but we was not told this before we arrived! After a trip out, we arrived back to a mass of people at this party, people making out in the corridors, it was... More

We visited the hotel for a family function which our family had also catered. All staff that we met were very friendly and were very happy to help. The Building itself is beautiful and set in a woodland area which was very green and beautiful. Although we didn't stay overnight we certainly would have done and will do in the... More

Excellent place to stop before or after flying from Gatwick. It is a little bit tired but good value for what you get. I do not recommend the food the restaurant for an evening meal eat elsewhere. Breakfast is however very good.

The staff are friendly and helpful, the setting is pleasant with its own grounds and the breakfast is decent. However, our room clearly hadn't been dusted or vacuumed for a long time, the walls are paper thin - every sound can be heard from adjoining rooms and everything feels rather tired and in need of modernising. Overall, a reasonable place... More

We stayed at The Regency on a Living Social Deal for two nights; thoroughly enjoyed the break. The hotel was situated in a quiet location and as it was near to Gatwick it wasn't noisy. Our room was clean and tidy, very fresh bed linen and towels. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in our room as well. The staff... More

We found the hotel with the help of the Sat Nav and it is s hidden gem. The hotel is a very impressive building set in its own grounds and gives a very good first impression. We were given a lovely welcome by Harry who told us the things we needed to know. We were allocated room 7 on the... More
