Hard to fault this Premier Inn - for an overnight stay at Gatwick, you can save a few pounds here over the (nicer) Sofitel that's in the terminal, and get a similar standard of room. The place was clean, friendly and quiet - the lobby feels a little bit like a pub, with food and drinks available. It's also close... more

Firstly, I would let me point out that I cannot accurately rate this hotel for location or value as these were irrelevent to our stay - our stay at Premier Inn Gatwick was provided by British Airways after our flight from Heathrow to Singapore was cancelled. We were transferred to Gatwick hotels as the Heathrow hotels apparently had no vacancies.... more

I used it for a night before anearly flight (6.45 take-off) and I chose it because it is within walking distance of the Terminal. As you can see the hotel from the Transit to the North Terminal, it is fairly easy to find your way, despite building work on the way and the complete absence of any signage. The room... more

Stayed overnight after flight arrival into London Gatwick late evening on 12 April. Family Room on ground floor - comfortable, clean and had the correct number of towels in the bathroom (quite rare at a lot of UK hotels). Beds and bed linen fine and beds nicely made up. Pillows were a bit too soft even with two. If you... more

The Premier Inn @ Gatwick is cheap and good. Rooms looks a bit aged though and the bus in is a bit of a rip-off. Paying GBP 2 for a ride of <3mins for a 5 mins walk is a bit ridiculous. However most people with luggage would have a tough time getting there. On the plus side, staff are... more

Having spent what seemed like hours hunting for an airport hotel that didn't sound hideous, we plumped for this one. We only stayed for one night before an early-ish flight out of the South terminal - last minute decision made because of all the snow that London got around the time we were travelling. Got a room booked easily and... more

Me and my partner stayed at this hotel the night before an early flight out of the South Terminal at Gatwick. We hunted high and low to find a half decent hotel close to the airport and at a decent price and we ended up on the Premier Inn after finding out it could be walked to the North Terminal.... more

The Premier Inn Central sits just outside the exit road from Gatwick North terminal - to walk will take around 5 mins only, so if you've little baggage, save your £2 for the shuttle bus and give your feet some exercise! Staff are always great at Premier Inn's, and here they do everything to make you welcome. The lobby features... more

stayed at this hotel, before our holiday, and again on return, found it to be quite exceptable, and very close to the airport, everything went smoothly we had one problem, our room was cold, and we altered the tempreture to no avail, a word with reception, told us what to do, and the problem was sorted the day we had... more
