We booked this lovely hotel run by lovely staff after seeing it on Hotel Inspector, at the time we wondered why on earth Alex was there, and in actual fact so did she! I think she helped in re decorating one bedroom and just advising on how to perhaps use the huge grounds to their advantage. We arrived in the... More

We were off to the Brompton World Championships and wanted to meet some friends - we were looking for good value, an easy-to-get-to location and the promise of space. We were not disappointed! Sultry weather tempted us in to the vast grounds - just lovely for a stroll and to relax with a glass of wine during an early evening... More

I stayed at this hotel on the 23rd June instead of the Hilton, where I would normally stay. After a traumatic journey (when my car was written off!), I couldn't fault the welcome and support I was given my everyone, including the receptionist. I shall never forget the luxury of being able to sit in the garden with a cheeky... More

We stayed at this accommodation before an early morning flight to Gatwick. The usual guest house we stay in was fully booked and came across this accommodation whilst searching on the internet. We were greeted by the most unwelcoming receptionist I have ever met in my life- needs a course in customer services. The room was very small and hardly... More

We spent two nights at Waterhall, as we were attending a wedding in nearby Newdigate. On arrival we received a friendly greeting and check in, and were given helpful information regarding taxis and late entry, as the reception closes at 10pm. The room (number 6) was larger than expected and very clean. The bathroom was quite small, but modern and... More

We have been staying here for some 10 years everytime we travel from Gatwick. Following on from the Hotel Inspector visit I was very interested to see how things had changed when we booked for a one night stop over at the beginning of June. I was delighted to be staying in the room that Andy had re-decorated as his... More

We stayed here in June 2014,on recommendations from a friend. We stayed in a room facing the car park. It was small and the decor a little dated. We ate in the conservatory and I have to say the food was excellent. The waitress and the gentleman who cooked were very friendly and the grounds were beautiful. Wenenjoyed a drink... More

Myself and my partner stayed overnight before a early morning flight from Gatwick. What a pleasant hotel this is. The room which was facing the car park was a good size and nice and clean. We had a fantastic evening meal in the conservatory, and we even managed to see a deer roaming around. The only complaint my partner had... More

We stayed here in late May 2014 as an overnight stay prior to flying from Gatwick. Unfortunately, the night we drove up from South Wales after work the weather was dreadful, torrential rain and an accident on M25 delayed our journey. We had to take a protracted route which delayed our arrival by over an hour, therefore, I called the... More

What a great little find, perfect place to stay before your flight. A very friendly accommodating place, with lovely food and staff. Our parking, Taxi to and from Gatwick was organised for us. Will definitely stay again, either before flying or for a lovely weekend.
