I have stayed at this hotel 4 different visits now and will continue to go back. Yes it is an old old building. That is part of the charm. It used to be the George Hotel and like the area it is in, it is an older building rich with history. If you are looking for somewhere, clean, comfortable with... More

The hotel is in need of a bit of TLC. The decoration is tired. The room i stayed in was in an annex which meant getting wet in the rain. The room had broken heating and a window that did not open...but I was given a fan. There are no facilities to eat but a Chinese buffet eating place next... More

Unfortunately this place was selected by my company hotel booking agents. On the plus side, it's very central in Crawley, easy to find. The guy on the reception was very pleasant and efficient. The wifi worked. Moving on, the downsides are that this place looks and feels like it hasn't been renovated since 1930. The room I was given stank... More

We booked this hotel for a night with off site holiday parking. I wanted somewhere that did purple parking or similar so we could pick up the car and go after our USA vacation. The hotel is rather tired and dated from what we saw. It is made up of several bland brick out buildings which make up the majority... More

The hotel is in a building which was a 17th century coaching inn. Handily located on the High Street, it is only a 10 minute drive from the airport. We booked it through Holiday Extras and upgraded to an excellent superior room for only £10.00.

Once you have actually managed to find the hotel and car park you can check into your room. If you are lucky the lights will work. If not the man at reception can turn them all on and off for you until they finally kick in. As the hotel has no eating facilities you can then explore Crawley High Street... More

I booked this as part of a stay and park offer on Holiday Extras, as it was financially and locationally good, on paper at least. And yes the location was decent for the Purple Parking zone, but the hotel itself is very poor. We were given a room in the Sussex block out the back of the main hotel, which... More

I booked to stay in the Ramada in advance of a business meeting because the location looked good; I choose to travel without a car (odd to many I know, but you should try it). I therefore ignored the comments by other reviewers on the "safety" of the car park. At home, I park my car in a thing called... More

Thomson holidays recommended our stay here the night before we flew from Gatwick Airport, avoid at all costs, terrible hotel in a run down area, car park is used for washing cars and the hotel block we were given was awlful, dark, dingy and nasty. Took 15 mins for someone on reception to acknowldege us and there is load music... More

Please be fair warned... This hotel has awarded itself a 4 star rating on the accommodation website I used so I booked it for my husband and I so we could avoid a long drive home after a very late flight arrival into LGW which we were on last night. It has to be said that the car park, where... More
