Should have stayed here for two nights. One before, and one after our holiday. Thankfully for the one before we were transfered to another hotel, as our room wasn't available (Thank god). We were offered a free up grade to the main hotel as compensation. Well, we have stayed in some poor hotels, but this took the biscuit. Everything about... More

For £29 you get what you would expect. Stayed here on the 9th of December, at check in we were greeted by a nice women we were told where our rooms are, and what restaurants are near. Our rooms were simple, the beds were extremely hard and very uncomfortable other than that they were fine. We had the very overpriced... More

I read the reviews on Tripadvisor but chose the Lodge based on price. What a mistake! Glad that there was regular transport to and from the Airport outside the Europa Hotel. However, that will not make up for the awful experience. I checked in at the busy Hotel Europa's reception as instructed and found the staff polite and attentive. However,... More

Staff pleasant. Room on the small side, bed on the small side although was clean . Hallways old and dank looking. My floor smelt of smoke although it was a non smoking floor. Mattress was like concrete. I attempted to fold the comforter in half and sleep on top of that but didn't help 4 hours sleep in total. Ordered... More

This hotel is absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it is filthy, smelling, hairy, sticky, falling apart and a fire waiting to happen. If you feel like giving it a go, please make sure that you are up to date with your Tetanus vaccinations. I had booked this online as we were attending a wedding near and... More

Husband and I spent weekend here with National Holidays cant fault them, but oh had we known in advance that the hotel would be quite as run down as this we would never have come. Every carpet in the hotel, bar area, restaurant area and bedroom were filthy with stain marks, the glass topped tables in the bar were filthy,... More

Britannia Lodge is situated just next to Europa Hotel Gatwick. It's part of the hotel group. When I entered the reception, I wondered where Britannia Lodge is. Check-in was strictly at 2:00 pm so I had enough time to roam around. The Europa Hotel did not present a good impression. As soon as I took a seat near the bar... More

Iv travelled around the world and have stayed in many stop over hotels but this hotel by far is the worst. From the outside it looks decent, when you step inside it's completely different. Ketchup running down the walls in the common area, spiders and bugs all over the walls. The tables were not clean nor was the floor. The... More
