The other one is nearer the town centre and has a pool and a gym. This one is more of a pub-restaurant with rooms. Good things about the White House: - good quality, good value food in the pub, and chef is willing to cater for special dietary requirements (didn't try the restaurant as we wanted to eat early) -... Good points - the food is tasty and good value, bed was very comfortable, and there was free Wifi. Bad points - the rooms need some TLC and a good clean. One of my colleagues had a room with such an overpowering smell she asked to move. Overall the hotel looks like it has seen better days.

The hotel seemed to be ok, a bit of way out of Telford ok in its location. as you get to the hotel you see has a very busy restaurant. Staff were welcoming and warm. To get to the room was like going through a rabbit warren. That did not help the fact we were given the wrong key and... More

Our family stayed at this hotel to visit family and have some half term fun. It was everything you need from a short stay. Polite helpful staff in all areas. Room immaculate would advise you ask for twin bed family room otherwise you risk a sofa bed. Pool abd gym facilities top class and clean. Breakfast was tasty cooked well... More

We booked this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday,How disappointed we where. The wine was bought to the table unopened and just left there for us to open and help ourselves. The starter was nice, but the fillet steak at £25 each was cold and tough and my wife had half a plate of raw cabbage which the waiter insisted it was... This place is awful, the staff are rude, The owner is a drunk who always seems to prop up the bar. The rooms are shabby and in need of some TLC The restaurant is good, why the chef would want to work at such a awful establishment

I stayed at this hotel whilst visiting nearby attractions. The welcome was warm and the staff cheerful and polite. The twin room was clean and adequate, with tea facilities. Our bathroom was small, but ok, and basic soup and shampoo included. At night we had an excellent steak and a bottle of wine meal, for appx £25 for two. The... More

Stayed here to attend a wedding with quite a few of our family. We all loved this quirky rambling Gothic hotel. Yes, much of the décor was tired but for the price we were well pleased. Our room (30) was on the third floor and was very peaceful. It had 3 comfortable single beds and our Grandson stayed with us.... More
