I received a warm welcome at this family run hotel, but that did not make up for my bad stay. A lot of noise from the busy road - even with my earplugs! Very basic place, needs to be brought up to date with a good refurb but I know times are tough for small businesses and so not always... More

This is very basic, and the rooms are small, carpets stained and threadbare. There is a lot of noise from the busy road which is disturbing. There is a lot of noise from the bar downstairs which is disturbing It is however, very cheap. So if you are destitute then it will be great - otherwise go elsewhere. Cant comment... More

Room was booked as a last minute thing, I arrived quite late in the day, was welcomed with a fantastic warm welcome & asked immediately if I needed anything (was early evening), staff were very friendly & accommodating. Fantastic room, WiFi code offered upon arrival comfortable bed, great night sleep, breakfast in the morning was fresh, hot & made to... More

The phrase "you pay for what you get" is highly relevant here. The accommodation is very basic with pretty much a bed and a small en-suite plus a side-table but equally the room cost is very low so all in all it was an acceptable stay. The hotel is on a busy cross-roads so its a little noisy outside but... More

We were doing work to the house and we called in to see if they were still serving which they were and we had another lovely carvery experience, the food was hot and plenty of choice. Would recommend food.

Don't be misled by the restaurant title, you won't get a meal there on a Saturday night.Room was just appalling circa1970s, badly stained carpets, grapes on floor left from previous occupants.has to be seen to be believed

Went for a carvery lunch today with my husband, mum and brother. The service was very good and the selection too. Value for money at £8.95 for a three course meal....couldn't fault it. Family friendly so good for all ages. I would recommend it and go back next time I am in Wellington.

We often go here for midday lunch and are never disappointed, the menu is good and the quality is excellent the large plates are full and I often wonder how they can do it for the price ( 2 for £10) I particularly enjoy the home cooked boiled ham with 2 eggs and chips and peas, it is real ham...
