Stayed here for a business trip. Room was in the new part of the hotel - Spacious, comfortable, large bathroom ( with bath) Spotless, extremely comfortable bed, quiet . In short,everything I needed for a good nights sleep before a long business day ahead.

Just back home after having an over night stay at this hotel. Food was excellent, rooms were lovely, we were in the new part of the hotel. Beds so comfy, staff were very helpful and i can highly recommend this hotel.

I would recommend this to anyone...We were visiting for my boyfriends 40th and he said he had a great time. The staff were very friendly and they are very helpful. we had a great stay at this hotel all the staff were very helpfull in every way possible. rooms were tidy and clean and a good size too. food was lovely and great value as we had a set menu we also had afternoon tea which was great and breakfast was ideal and could not ask for any more.

The hotel is made up of an original Georgian building and a modern extension. We had a room in the original building which was spacious; with a modern bathroom, flat screen TV, double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a sizable wardrobe. The bed and pillows were quite firm which may not be to everyone’s taste.

This is simply one of the best UK hotels that we have stayed in. It is an imposing property set in small grounds but with ample parking. The owner is warm and welcoming and gets hands on with the service to guests in the reception and bar. The food is simply superb. We tried the dinner, afternnoon tea nad breakfast....
