This hotel is now closed such a shame. Will miss our annual Christmas lunch there as we have used it for about 6 years and never had a single complaint about the food or service. This is a great loss to Wellington and we hope that it reopens again very soon.

We ate here quite a few years ago and had amazing food and service. What a let down this time. Table was booked for 7.30. My wife and I walked into an empty building at 7.15. I shouted for attention and looked in the lounge and bar for staff. Nowhere to be seen, I made my way to the back... More

Host very nice and friendly. Very helpful. Room clean. Bar was very quiet. Restaurant was clean and food was very nice. The breakfast staff was very helpful. On the first morning we were a bit late going down for breakfast but she said not a problem. Around the hotel was excellent. We enjoyed our stay there for the two nights.... More

Firstly I wouldn't class this as a hotel, it's a small guesthouse with a tired feel and a musty smell throughout. I stayed in a double room with a shower that was barely attached and a duvet cover reminiscent of one my mum had 30 years ago, pillows had been substituted for small bricks. All this I could have overlooked... More

What can I say. We have had several private parties here, the latest being friday 20th for my husbands 50th. They never ever fail to please us. The food is always top class, the staff are always accommodating and never fail to make sure everything is good. Steve and Jen thank you so much again for everything. Will be back... More

This old Georgian house can be found within easy walking distance of the town centre. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. The car parking is free, but but even though I personally didn;t encounter any problems, I would imagine that if a function was taking place in the restaurant, it might get a bit busy. The owners and staff... More

Stayed here during a conference in Telford. The rooms are somewhat dated, but everything was immaculately presented. Breakfast was well presented, neat and punctual. The bar is also good for a drink before bed. The real selling point of this hotel is the staff, who are very friendly and exceedingly accommodating.

Very disappointing. Litter at front door wasn't removed for four days, lampshade in room fell off, very tarnished fittings in bathroom, bathroom door handle fell off, staff require training, heating system worked very well, breakfast uninspired, meals adequate, dinner on arrival however was excellent. Shower unuseable. Excellent location for exploring Wellington. The whole place is a little 'tired'. I would... More
