Congratulations Adrian and Rosemary on your national award!! You make us feel so welcome and very special each time we visit (this was our third visit, and will definitely not be our last). The Old Rectory is a beautiful house in tranquil settings, with high-quality furnishings and decoration - you pay such great attention to detail. Our whole family (ten... More

This is a beautiful b and b and there's absolutely nothing to fault. The owners are helpful in every way. The rooms immaculate, so tastefully decorated. The breakfast was top notch, clearly using locally sourced food. The only downside was that we only stayed for one night. We will definitely be returning here!

The guest house is beautifully decorated in keeping with its Georgian style. The owners were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our comfort. Breakfast was delicious, especially the plums and yogurt.

Continues to represent all that an excellent establishment should be. Adrian and Rosemary are the perfect hosts - attentive, warm and welcoming but not too intrusive. The house itself is squeaky clean, thoughtfully equipped, extremely comfortable and atmospheric. This was our first choice for a return visit to Shropshire and yet again we were not let down.

What a wonderfull house, what wonderfull hosts, the room was immaculate as was the super bathroom with endless hot water. We were welcomed with homemade cakes and scones and Rosmary's homemade jam, this was a fore runner of the delicious breakfast the following morning, Adrian and Rosemary are so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot belive our... More

We had wonderful cakes and tea though we arrived past 6. The rooms were beautiful, but for me a wee bit too cold, but we had feather bedding. The area was quiet and the hosts were very lovely and helpful.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to read that you were cold which presumably affected your sleep quality. It is difficult to maintain a temperature that is acceptable to all, as it is rather subjective. For that reason there are fan heaters in each room and an electric blanket on the bed as supplementary heating, which presumably you... More

A very warm welcome by Rosemary and Adrian, Heston and Blossom. We stayed in The Clayton a very spacious clean room with 2 comfortable armchairs. The breakfast was wonderful freshly cooked and excellent choice.

From the moment we drew up to the Old Rectory and were confronted by an immaculate white Georgian house, sitting in a paradise of a garden, we knew we were somewhere special. This has to be one of the best B & B's in the country.Greeted by companionable hosts and treated to a lovely tea with homemade cakes, we felt... More

Provided perfect base to explore Ironbridge. Quality of accommodation, breakfasts (all freshly cooked with local produce) and hosts, Adrian and Rosemary (including the dogs) first class. Would stay again and recommend to others without hesitation. Was everything that other reviews led me to expect especially the home baked cakes and scones on arrival. If you're looking for a top class... More

Let's sum this up, a homemade afternoon tea welcome, beautiful gardens and delightful house. Bedroom was very pleasant indeed, with more homemade biscuits and locally sourced water. Breakfast was also utterly delicious and the owners made sure that everything was just perfect. Will definitely go back.
