A hidden gem, I generally stay in larger chain hotels for work and never rate hotels on here, however stayed here for one night and now my opinions are changed! The Old Rectory was superb, far better than any chain hotel you would stay in for the same price. From the minute of arrival Adrian and Rosemary were on hand... More

What a wonderful place to stay. Adrian & Rosemary welcome you into their stunning B&B and make you feel completely relaxed in their beautiful home. The food is fantastic, from the delicious homemade cakes on arrival, homemade biscuits in the bedroom, to the delicious breakfast made with locally sourced produce & home baked goodies. The garden is a peaceful haven... More

We were delighted with every aspect of this lovely Guest House. The house and garden are beautiful. Tea in the garden with delicious homemade cakes and just the sound of birdsong was particularly special. Our hosts made us feel totally at home and could not have done more for us. We will certainly go again!

A great find with charming hosts. We planned three days to take in museums and attractions at Ironbridge Gorge. An excellent place to stay, by car less than 15 minutes from all the sights and good pubs and restaurants. A lovely house with character, quiet area with large pretty garden. We had beautiful room with a fantastic breakfast.

A rare gem! From the moment we arrived we could not have felt more at home-excellent effort and attention to detail in a perfectly peaceful yet well connected location. Delicious home made gluten free cakes, a lovely open fire and the warmest of welcomes from Rosemary, Adrian and their canine companions! Scrupulously clean and exceptionally comfortable, we honestly could go... More

A really nice b&b, amazing rooms, very modern yet classic. Very comfortable bed. Lovely food made to order. Loved the pooches x Only downfall was the noise generated in the lounge below until 2am from other guests but am guessing this is not a regular occurance. Would stay again & bring my pooches along for a luxury holiday. Thank you

Thank you for your review and we are so sorry you had an interrupted sleep. As far as we know, it is not a common occurrence but it should not happen at all. When other guests have a late night out we will take more care in asking them to be considerate to others. We hope you will visit us... More

Stayed here on buisness and was welcomed by Adrian and Rosemary with tea and cakes all homemade. The room was spacious and light. Plenty of towels and toiletries. The tea and coffee tray was stocked up with various hot drinks to choose and also homemade shortbread or flapjacks each day. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and the fruit selection... More

I booked this B&B instead of a hotel while attending to a training. Very clean, recently redecorated and VERY, VERY quiet! Excellent if you've got to study a few hundred pages! :) Room William was ideal for that and breakfast was also very good!! Recommended!
