We stayed for a weekend at the beginning of June and had a great time. Although checkin was 2pm we arrived at 12.30pm and without a complaint or argument we were assigned our room, unlike some Holiday Inn's that we've experienced! Well done to the reception staff. Our room was on the second (top) floor and was a good walk... more

Good weekend leisure hotel for families - mainly due to its nice pool and parkland at the rear of the hotel. Don't expect amazing food and drink but you'll get decent lunches and dinners and an above average breakfast. There is a path out of the back of the hotel that no-one seems to use (ask reception for the door... more

We stayed here part business, part leisure. Our room was large, although the bed was a standard double rather than king size. Check in was good. We ate in the restaurant and the service and food was good. The only complaint was the sea bream which was very, very salty and made my partner ill as a result. This should... more

We were originally booked for the International Hotel for 2 nights, but were "upgraded" (much too our disappointment) to the Holiday Inn because the hotel closed for the Christmas period. We have stated at this hotel several times and know it well. Checkin was effortless and we were assigned a room on the ground floor. This turned out to be... more

If this hotel was £100 or so I'd have given it 4 stars, but at the £140-odd rate I paid (well, my company paid) I don't think it merits that, hence 3, and given sum of its lower priced competitors I saw around (at less than 1/2 this cost from a colleague who stayed in one) I cant imagine that... more

This hotel is situated next door to the International Hotel which, unfortunately does not permit children. Overall this is a pleasant hotel even though quite expensive in comparison to other hotels for, what it offers. The staff were friendly and helpful and the checkin process was swift. The rooms are comfortable & provided tea/coffee making facilities which was important for... more

We stayed here for 1 night in October with our 2 year old. We are Platinum Priority Club members, however, we did not receive any particular benefits/treats here, as we have done at other Holiday Inns. Check in was fine. The first room we were offered was on the ground floor and was a little gloomy and small. Reception swiftly... more

Stayed here Sunday and Monday night as a base to visit Drayton Manor Theme Park (50 mins drive) and RAF Cosford (15 mins drive). Got the two nights for £80 through their own website, for family of four, no breakfast in that though. Check in was quick and easy, staff pleasant. The room was fine, clean and with all the... more

Spent a week-end at this Holiday Inn and we were pleasantly surprised that in this urban conglomeration, such a delightful hotel exists. Check-in was easy and friendly, the assigned room a mere 50 yard walk. A well-presented and decorated room awaited us, with two king-size beds, ample storage and hanging space, perfect size bathroom and even 'pillow menu'. A drink... more
