I needed somewhere to rest after being in hospital so booked the attic room 4 so there'd be no noise above keeping me awake. The room was gorgeous, huge bed, tasteful furniture and lots of biscuits and hot drinks. Mel's breakfast was great too, lots of choice and well prepared. Thanks for everything

Stayed here whilst at a conference in Telford. Lovely spacious room, liked the little sofa in front of the TV. Great comfy bed, slept well. Good cooked breakfast and friendly hosts. My friend stayed in Room 1, which was lovely with a little veranda, which would be lovely in the summer.

Hartfield is ideally sited for visits to the attractions of Coalbrookdale. Mel made us feel very welcome on arrival. Once settled, we found the rooms to be immaculate and generously sized. An unusual and most welcome feature is the honesty bar. Highly recommended.

We have just come back from a lovely weekend break in Telford and we must say that our stay was made even more enjoyable by this fabulous guest house. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and decorated to a high standard. We had everything we needed / wanted in it. The reception from the owner was very warm and friendly... More

I was here on Sunday night and I was pleasantly surprised with this Accomodation, my last experience in Telford was not great and I would honestly recommend this B and B . It's way better than most of the hotels in the UK . The could do with a light on the sign to make it easier to find though

This charming little hidden gem was one of the best guest houses my husband and I have ever stayed in - and that's a fair few!! Many small hotels don't offer the hospitality and degree of excellence on all counts that the owner and her son offered in this delightful guest house. Warm welcome, fabulous room, spotless, classy linen and... More

We arrived early evening after a day at the International Conference Centre. Mel came straight out to greet us after we we're let in through the gates. The room we had (room 2) was stunning. Clean, luxurious and very spacious with a generous hospitality tray. Mel showed us where everything was and how to get in and out of the... More

I'd booked to stay for 2 days for a fencing competition. It's down a road that looks like it should be a dead end .. but persevere. You will need to go through electric gates .. which are easy to deal with once you know. Parking area is small and would recommend that you have someone guide you backwards ..... More
