Good travelogue as always. Different room layout to the usual rooms which made a difference. Comfy bed and extremely full pillows. We had a very comfy night. Only down side is parking which is £2 a night instead of £1.80 as advertised on the website, and the walk around from the recommended car park as it is on the opposite... More

It is a budget hotel so don't expect frills. Was exactly what I wanted, clean, friendly staff and comfortable bed for a reasonable cost. Downside, parking is off-site and extra cost. Shops are close by.

I have seen soon not so favourable reviews about this Travelodge however I found it what I expected. We booked two family rooms for 6 adults and 2 kids. I asked two extra beds, the beds were already made in both rooms. We needed accommodation for one nights and thats what we got nothing less and nothing more. Only two... More

Preconceptions about the location of this Travelodge immediately vanished upon arrival. The hotel was perfectly located not only for retail therapy but also the great Wyvern Theatre. The hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy with all essential facilities to hand. The hotel did what it promised to do - it gave me a brilliant night's sleep with hardly any noise... More

We always travel by public transport, so location is important to us. The staff were friendly and the breakfast, booked online, was good value. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was as good as Premier Inn.

Over all good value and good location for the city. Breakfast a bit haphazard, ran out of bread for breakfast and wasn't told till after we paid. Would have liked fried egg option for breakfast rather than just scrambled egg that was dried out on the servery. Didn't eat in the evenings

Just as I arrived at hotel entrance was partially blocked with noisy guests smoking. £85,80 for the one night stay with no breakfast, when queried him on price which was excessive he said the price goes up on the system when less rooms are becoming available, five rooms left at that stage 8.30 pm .However room was clean and comfortable.except noisy plumbing

Stayed at the Swindon Travelodge for the first time whilst on a business trip. For the money, the hotel provides all the facilities that I needed. Staff were very helpful. The room was clean, good size and perfect for doing some work and having a good night's sleep. Breakfast was OK, but again good value. There's a car park across... More

Bland and boring from outside and just the same inside! Parking was accross a very busy road and then around the corner so beware if it is raining or you have a lot of luggage! reception will then stamp your ticket so you get a reduced rate in the car park. Checked in by Nathan who was very pleasant but... More

Ideally located near the Wyvern Theatre - 2 minutes - and with a decent bar/cafe on the ground floor. No onsite parking but 24 hours for GBP 5 over the road is not bad although quite a walk if you are not good on your pins.
