If you have to stay in Swindon, rest at THE LODGE. The rooms may not be huge but the hospitality is enormous. It's super comfortable, spotless, quiet, yet minutes away from the town center. I certainly will stay again. Lysette Anthony

A lovely little bed and breakfast located in the old town of Swindon, we turned up on Friday evening and found a warm friendly welcome, good breakfast, room really comfy and parking within 5 minutes of both the locations we needed to be, Cannot fault the stay and the price was brilliant, will definitely stay here again!

Stayed here last weekend with a friend. Warmly welcomed by Phil who explained where local restaurants were etc. Our room was clean and comfortable with a decent shower. There were toiletries and tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities. There was a microwave in the room too which would be handy for families. I stayed at The Lodge for 8 weeks while on work placement. In that time, the manager has been a great host and a great help, nothing is too much trouble. There is a great friendly atmosphere. The room was warm, clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is second to none! I would recommend The Lodge to anyone :)

In early January 2013 we reserved a double and a single room for one night at the Lodge, about a fortnight in advance. Alarm bells should have rung at that stage, as when the manager rang to confirm the booking, he told us that an extra charge would be payable if we chose to settle the bill by credit card... More

We had a great stay for a long weekend. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great value for money and a decent breakfast. The staff were really helpful with lots of local knowledge. Definitely recommend and would stay again.
