Had no problems with this hotel. As a few other reviewers have said, it's not the Ritz, but if you're expecting that level of room and facilities for less than £25 a night per person, you possibly need to get your head examined. This was my second visit to the South Marston Hotel, on both occasions myself and a colleague stayed there as were had to attend a course at a local site. On the first occasion, 18months ago, the rooms we got did'nt quite come up to par with the rooms shown on the website, but all in a pleasant enough stay.... more

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and was very impressed with staff friendliness, good breakfast choice, light and airy restaurant, cleanliness, good size rooms and modern decor, great location with easy access to main roads, and large car park. Cannot comment on pool, and other facilities as we did not have time to use them, although they looked good. more
We stayed overnight on a cycling trip from Bristol to London, I was pleasantly surprised at the level of accommodation and amenities.
