From the outside, this hotel looks great, set in huge grounds complete with lake and old trees it seems like the perfect English country house. I stayed in an expensive room (160GBP single occupancy), the room itself was nice enough but my room(and only my room) had a power cut which took ages to sort out, partially because the night staff could barely speak English. Breakfast was also disappointing. more
