The hotel is situated beside a nite club so depending which side of the building your room is you can't be guaranteed a good nights sleep. I was on a coach trip with family and it seemed as if we were part of the club scene until 4 o'clock in the morning. Other travellers had the same experience.

Dear Barbara R, I cannot but apologise for the experience on the Saturday night. I am genuinely sorry for the lack of sleep caused by the noise coming from the club nearby. The location of the Hotel is very central to Swindon, which is generally an advantage since all of the shops, malls, restaurants, bars and night clubs are situated... More

Spent a Saturday night being 'lulled' to sleep by the thumping music and screaming revellers leaving the nearby nightclub. Check before you book where your room is located so you get a peaceful night. Other than that you get what you pay for. Rooms are clean and functional and self-service buffet breakfast is OK for the price. Minutes on foot... More

I booked two rooms at this hotel weeks in advance, received e-mail confirmation at the time and a couple of days before the stay but when we arrived, they had no record of the booking. They did have a similar booking under a quite different name so we took that, went to our rooms, dropped off our bags and went to... Stayed 3 nights with friends. All the staff, especially Molly and Melody, were really helpful. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and rooms clean and tidy. Some really good restaurants are just across the road for the evenings. The train station is just a short walk away. Hope to stay again.

Upon arrival we checked in and got in the lift to go up to our rooms. The lift made a few clunking noises then it stopped. We kept pressing the start button but nothing happened, we tried to pull the doors open and a brick wall in front of us. We pressed the emergency button but no one answered. We... More

I stayed on the 12th of March. And although one of the lifts were down for maintenance, there was a polite young lady waiting downstairs with hot coffee and more than happy to listen to my idle chit chat, the room was great, and the food was perfectly cooked. No complaints here!

Dear 127216, Firstly I would like to express on my and the Team's behalf our gratitude for choosing to stay with us and for being so considerate for the unforeseen maintenance issue with our elevator. We booked on Thursday for Saturday and still got a good deal. Rooms were spacious with adequate facilities for an over nighter. The hotel is at walking distance from the Swindon railway station and right in front of the block of restaurants of downtown Swindon, so convenient for both. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you want somewhere in the town center, it's great. Walking distance or short taxi to everywhere. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. My one concern however, the lobby is on the first floor. Saturday night, a few rather intoxicated young men managed to get through the front door...
