We stayed at the Madison for 4 nights whilst attending an exhibition, 5/11/07 until 9/11/07. The rooms, dinners ,(we ate at the hotel every night) breakfast and staff were superb. Our rooms had recently been refirbished as had the bar and restaurant. I would recommend it Steve Ashmore more

This hotel has improved massively in the last 9 months. great new restaurant and fab jazz playing on the night of my stay. The new owners have obviously spent a load of money and it showes more

On arrival there was no one at reception, when the receptionist did arrive she looked bored as though we weren't worth the bother. I stayed at this twice during the past month and on both ocassions I found the hotel to be wanting in terms of cleanliness. Dirty crockery, dirty glasses, unhelpful staff, poorly maintained rooms, peeling paper, dirt on floors - ever after they had been serviced, poor Wi-Fi, staff who only have a basic understanding of English...need I say more? Lovely looking hotel, very impesive.... Expensive breakfast though!!£10.. Bit much.. Good sized rooms but very warm, as other guest have said it needs A/C, Apart from that great hotel, bar restaurant okay... Worth a stay if you find a deal!! more
