Stayed at the hotel a number of times for a convention. As always the venue was excellent. The room (1) was comfortable with a good sized bed (2), spacious desk area with well positioned power points. The bathroom is large (3). The bath has a glass screen, far better than the plastic ones. The bar/cafe area features a large bar... More

I spent three days in this large and comfortable hotel as an attendee of a mad literary convention. We engaged in weird rituals, held marches dressed as characters from books, and secreted lobsters all over the place. (Don't ask!) But the staff took it all in their stride, with humour and good-will, which went a long way to making the... More

My friend and I were having a short break in the area to visit Cotswold Wildlife Park and do some shopping so we chose this hotel for its good location and the fact that there were a lot of things to do nearby. First impression was very good - loads of parking, nice reception area and the hotel was very... More

I was pleasantly pleased that I had a large room with a sofa overlooking garden area. The shower was a wonderful power shower. This was a standard double and I would definitely stay again. The Italian restaurant served reasonably priced food and there was plenty to look at in the décor.

I bought my husband Al Murray Tickets for his birthday, which was at The Wyvern theatre in Swindon, and decided to stop over at The Village. I booked a king suite and could not have been happier. It was MASSIVE. We had a large bedroom with queen bed, with double doors which opened into a lounge/dining room twice the size... More

We've stayed here a few times and it's a nice place. Room are comfy and staff have always been friendly. We were given a room that looked over the beer garden which was noisy and they moved us when we asked. The bar is great for drinks and snacks and the Buco restaurant does very nice food and a good... The hotel is situated on the edge of town. It has onsite free parking which is great. The check in process is quick & efficient & staff are very helpful. The rooms are smallish & quite basic & is starting to look weathered. The food in the restaurant is average at best- we had dinner on one of the nights... More

I was recommended to stay here by my mother. Took my friend for her birthday and was very pleased with all aspects of the hotel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were a very good size. The price was amazing at only £75 for two including breakfast. We also explored...
