We recently stayed for a weekend at the De Vere Village as per a Groupon Deal. As we paid a bargain price I feared a few difficulties with the booking but was pleasantly surprised to find booking and checking in procedures very efficient and straightforward. Rooms are comfortable, but a little dark for my liking - a bit more lighting... More

I have stayed here with my Husband quite a few times both when it was run by De vere and when Village took over. The refurbishment is great and rooms have more or less everything you need but it would of been nice to have a few little toiletries but i understand this is probably an eco choice. We came... More

Paid £89 for a 2 night weekend stay, including breakfast in a standard king room. The room was dark, that's the style, personally I would have prefered more lighting. Not happy to find white stains on the bed runner and pubic hairs in the bath, otherwise happy with room. Bed was firm and very comfortable. Breakfast was fine, self-service hot... More

They've spent money there you can see that, gym is fantastic, although in my opinion its lost its class, the restaurant and bar are over priced and the service and food was better a few years ago. Rooms are nice and modern I just think they should have left the De Vere as the De Vere its used to a... More

We went for a 2 night stay. The room was well appointed and generally clean. There was a bit of dust, particularly in the less often reached places (on top of the pictures, on the venetian blind) - not a major problem but it did give my wife a stuffy nose. Other than that (if you can live with the... More

I try and stay in a hotel with gym and pool facilities to give me something to do of an evening. This place has fantastic gym and pool facilities, some of the best I've seen. The rest is just like a standard corporate hotel. Would stay again. Its located in what I would describe as an enterestainment park, a place... More

This hotel offers great facilities for families, the pool, gym and surrounding entertainment is helpful as were the staff. The italian restaurant has excellent food but beware sizes when ordering as they serve either 1, 3 or 5 people. Having starbucks in the foyer was a plus but the noise of drunken revellers returning to nearby rooms wakes children. More

We stayed here for a few days to get away from the Xmas hubbub and it was superb. Great for the kids. Pool and restuaruants on site, and soft play, cinema, supermarket all within easy walking distance. Great service. Newly refurbed. Excellent prices. We had a suite - perfect for a few days. Location not brilliant, but we weren't there... More
