The food is great and very good value, there is a good evening menu and the cooked breakfast included in the b&b price is excellant. Our room on the 3rd floor was fairly tired, but clean and at £30 a night b&b in the Cotswolds I am not about to complain.

I stayed at The Saracens Head on Tuesday night and what can I say but a great place to stay and eat, the food was great and the friendly staff were so helpful, I will be back for sure. The hotel is situated in a market place with plenty of parking and lighting.

Quaint old original Coaching Inn Pub serving fine Ales. It has a restaurant and and accomodation too. We stayed here as we were attending a family celebration, and were within walking distance of their house. The hotel itself dates back to the 13th Cenury, however, the rooms are being updated and modernised and ours room 2 was very nice with... More

we booked in for a night's stay to attend a family party in Highworth. All the other hotels and B and B's that looked nice were full so accepted the last room available at the Saracen's Head in spite of it looking fairly basic. It was only £60 so we didn't have great expectations but were still disappointed. On arrival... More

I'm leaving a good rating for this hotel because I only paid £30, which included a cooked breakfast. This was much cheaper than any of the alternatives in a wide area. One criticism I have, is this. I booked the room on Late Rooms, and in the notes to the booking, stated that I would be arriving at 11.45pm, and... More

My family visited this great pub lady weekend , and what a great evening we had It's such a 'atmospheric' pub with all the old features Lots of real ales & special deals on the beer of the month The food was excellent, good choices, and great value Definitely recommend this great village pub.

I was very please with my single room, it seemed spotless and newly decorated. New looking double glazed windows..although the handles came off when closing..:0. A modern en-suite shower room, although small, had to leave door open but ok for a single person. I put plug in sink though and couldn't get it out again so had a sink full... More

Recently booked this hotel through late.rooms.com. Complete farce. Booked 3 rooms and hotel only had 2 (claiming the 3rd room booking hadn't been passed through). At the time the hotel were helpful in helping us to secure another hotel (however at vast additional cost as the area was completely booked up). However since laterooms have started to take up the... I was very pleasantly surprised with my 'single' room at the Saracen's Head. It had a double bed, good sized en-suite with bath and was very tastefully decorated. At less than I have often paid for rooms in 'basic' chains of hotels, this room had character, was light and homely. The breakfst was good and the staff friendly. I felt... More

this is an old pub with a lot of character. the rooms were clean and smart and tasteful. We had requested a quiet room which it was after the pub garden emptied. it was a little smoky as the smoke came into the room from below, but again this went once the garden emptied. the breakfast was amazing and freshly...
