The Rose and Crown is located in the picturesque village of Ashbury. The pub has genuine charm and character. The traditional home cooked food is amazing, with some of the finest meats around, along with outstanding fish and chips. The landlord is a fantastic character and you always get a warm welcome. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended.

Go to the Rose and Crown at Ashbury, a beatiful village pub and restaurant. The home cooked food is excellent and it has a warm and welcoming bar. I stayed overnight and the rooms were very warm and comfy. The full english breakfast was great. Ashbury village is lovely and the walks near to the village are stunning.

arrived for a wedding at the local church, two kids in tow. the landlord was a jolly man who could not do enough for us,his wife was straight out of the mrs. Beaton mould , and her food was to match. a fantastic wedding and a fantastic weekend. we will visit again ,well done
