We spent 3 nights here and must say it was nothing but amazing. Jackie gave us a big warm hug on our way in, showed us around and even gave us a few notes of her opera singing. In one sense I don't wan to review it as I'd like it to b exclusive but such a great B&B deserves... More

The Old Post Office Guest House has been in the same family for four generations and lovingly looked after. For it's hosts Jackie and Roger nothing is too much trouble. Light and airy rooms, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. The Full English Breakfast is like no other we have ever had. They offer a Continental Breakfast too. Mmmmm! If you don't... More

My partner and I stayed at the Old Post Office Guest House after a friends wedding. Since staying overnight in a beautifully comfortable bed, with the added bonus of Sky TV at our finger tips and followed by a succulent bacon sandwich in the morning - it's given us both the perfect excuse to stay here again if we're ever... I challenge you to get a bigger more lovely welcome than you receive from the lovely Jackie. Arriving exhausted after a long drive at 8pm I was given a big hug- just what I needed!!!! I slept on a cloud in a beautiful bed and then was treated to an amazing breakfast, a little opera singing and a lot of... More

A wonderful guest house and the friendliest hostess you will ever find. The building is really an old post office with lots of history...do ask. It has been lovingly restored and improved, with 5 rooms decorated to a high standard, such comfortable beds, nice furniture, and Sky sports for those who want to watch. A great night's sleep. Breakfast is... More

I'm a regular visitor to Jackies amazing B and B. from day one I have been made to feel welcome, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cosy, spotless and have high quality furnishings. Breakfast is amazing ! Mix all of this with Jackies humour and attentive service ( as well as other members of the family on the odd... More

Stayed here for a few weeks while working in Swindon during week. Jackie (Landlady) is so friendly, always seems to exceed your expectations, making you feel at home and welcome. You feel nothing you need is too much to ask for. Use her Microwave, washer etc. Rooms are very comfortable, beds are amazing. Free fast Wi-Fi, parking.. etc. The best... More

What a delightful place to stay and what a warm welcome awaits the traveller from landlady and opera singer, Jackie. Be prepared for friendly hugs and, if you're lucky, some beautiful singing from the lovely lady. It is a charming old house and the furnishing and decor are immaculate and tasteful, with plenty of attention to detail. Fresh cut flowers... More

I am probably going to shoot myself in the foot here by reviewing this place - but I feel it necessary. Jackie - who runs the place - is a darling. She made me feel totally welcome - food is great by Southern Standards (us northerners are hard to please - very spoiled by my mum up North!) - the... More

What a nice B&B and what a nice landlady. The rooms are beautiful (only our bathroom was a little to small for me) and romantic decorated. The breakfasts are great (even the non-super standard breakfasts) and the landlady, although a little crazy, is lovely!
