Went for Sunday lunch recently and the roast was of excellent quality. Only (slight) disappointment was the relatively small serving of vegetables between four and three smallish roast potatoes on each plate. Service was prompt and with a smile. Surroundings and ambiance in the bar/restaurant area comfortable and relaxed. After so many disappointing Sunday lunches at other establishments in the... More

Picked the Harrow purely at random whilst driving through Wanborough recently we only required a sandwich type lunch and the outside of the Harrow looked very welcoming. We entered the bar area and were delighted to see that the welcoming exterior was reflected inside with a large bar and eating area decorated as one would expect of a quintessential English... More

The accommodation, food and friendly staff is wonderful. We booked for 2 nights and stayed 4. Central to Cotswolds, lovely inn that dates back to 1637, thatched roof, lovely atmosphere but modern rooms. Would highly recommend this accommodation

We have been visiting the Harrow for many years but it is definitely at its best now. Vicky and her family and friends make it very special and go that extra step to make it a perfect place for a meal. Roast dinner is the best in the area and the main menu has great choices all of excellent quality.... More

Enjoyed a very comfortable 4 night stay. Vicky and her team made us very welcome. The menu and food were excellent with compliments to the chef and fresh home-made bread to take home. Certainly an Inn to recommend when staying in the area.

Having eaten at this pub 5 times now, the standards have been consistently excellent. This includes the food, service, ambience, choice of real ales and general welcoming atmosphere. Vicky the landlady and all the staff have created an excellent venue to enjoy high quality food and excellent ale. The best I have found in the area. Chris Wiltshire, England

This is a recent find for us and we now eat there regularly either on our own or with friends - the food is always excellent and Vicki goes out of her way to make you feel welcome (as do all her staff) and ensure you are happy and all is good with the food - a refreshing change from... More
