In short, this hotel represents good value and standard of accommodation / food / facilities. I have read other reviews here and clearly the bedrooms and bathrooms have been upgraded since those reviews were written. They are the equal of any £60 per night rooms that I have stayed in within this part of the UK and well looked after... More

Fresh modern contemporary rooms with solid matching furniture, comfy beds, quality bathrooms, swimming pool, gym and happy helpful staff are available at the Alexandra House 4 miles away for the same price. If these features are not required and you prefer your room shabby, worn out and smelly then this is the place for you. Your bed is old and... More

Just stayed here this pasted weekend. Rooms are not good peeling wallpaper, curtains hanging from rails. 1 pillow for each person. This hotel needs a good clean and paint. The only good thing about it is the breakfast but not worth £12.99 even if it is included in room rate. This is our second stay here will be the last.

I have previously stayed at the hotel on another business trip, so when my usual hotel was fully booked, I didn't see a problem with staying here. How different it was... I went to boil the kettle only to find someone had literally made a cup of tea in it ( luckily they had taken the tea bag out) but... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night as we were visiting family near by. We only paid £40 so we were not expecting a five star hotel. Upon arrival the receptionist was really friendly and helpful. She said that we have been upgraded to a better room. My boyfriend asked what this would be and she replied "better... More

Stayed here for 5 nights because I was attending a course at the Defence Academy. I did not drive hence the bus 66 that stops near this hotel was the key reason why I stayed here. Other hotels nearer to the academy were fully booked. The staff were very friendly. Prior my arrival to the hotel, I communicated to them... More

No apologies from management when I requested one just a quick oh dear from the receptionist as she continued to send us... More

I stayed here on business recently whilst I'm finishing a contract in Swindon. The hotel was ok, decent rooms, food ok. Generally lacked atmosphere but if you are just looking for a room for the night then this would be ok.
