I have stayed here a number of times, having been booked in by my company, but last night was the last. This hotel, whilst having mainly friendly staff is just too run down. Rooms are shabby and soiled. TV is ancient with no Freeview or sky. WiFi although advertised very rarely works. Never had a room where all the lights... More

My mum and I stayed for 5 nights and your hotel and my sister stayed for two nights at your hotel. The reason for our stay was so we could spend time with our relatives that live in derby. When we first arrived we were greeted to really friendly staff on reception who kindly allowed us to leave our luggage... More

Not a hotel I would chose but I had a reservation booked through business. When I checked in the room I was given was dirty, stained carpets and mould in the bathroom. I checked out immediately and was given a refund without argument, the staff member I spoke to was in complete agreement about the state of the room.

I booked this hotel as we were attending a friends surprise party in Derby. We were checked in by a young girls who was not rude but not friendly more like a stuck up robot, her colleague was lets say Les or Leslie the barman in Benidorm (with equally too much make up) I rang reception at 6.20 to ask... Room dirty, carpets filthy not cleaned for days, mould in bathroom and on shower head,5 channels on the tv,remote didn't work. Food average and overpriced at best no wonder takeaway menus available. Food not even available weekend nights, ran out of draught beer for 3 nights and charged £3.95 for a can of Stella. Overall the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. But... More

It is what it is. Average. Its not fancy or particularly modern. But for what we needed, which was somewhere cheap, warm, clean and near to our destination it fitted the bill. The hotel staff were friendly and informative, they realised we werent local and sorted taxis out for us for the evening. We were a group of 6 couples... More

We stayed here after doing a concert and it was comfortable and convenient for the motorway. Breakfast was tasty and I slept very well. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The only downside had I wanted to work on my ipad was the lack of wifi in the bedroom.
