Our stay was ok, the cleanliness was fine, not spotless but not worth complaining about. The bed was to firm for me but obviously that is out of the hotels control. Breakfast was good value for money. customer service was good my partner booked a twin room by mistake and they changed it to a double straight away. although close... More

Hotel is in a great location directly opposite the train station, with free onsite parking. Room basic but clean , travelodge standard. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Staff in general friendly especially the cleaning staff. For the price we paid a good 2 night break for the price.

We've stayed here a couple of times. Rooms are reasonably spacious and equipped, and warm and quiet. It's a peasant surprise not to have to pay for city centre(ish) parking. Good Italian restaurant next door for evening meals, very good buffet breakfast in hotel. Only reservation is the disappointing bar - a limited range of drinks and a flat atmosphere.

Spent two nights here last week, expected a basic travel lodge type place but much better. Hairdryer worked without having to keep finger on button. Even toiletries provided. Usual tv, tea and coffee. Better price when booked on line in advance. Free, unlimited WiFi too.

Stayed here for 2 nights across Valentines weekend, national beer festival & Derby playing at home. Friendly staff who tried to accommodate our desire to booking in early (so we could go to the beer festival) but were hampered by late leavers. Room spacious with windows that actually opened! Nice quality biscuit supplied with the Tea & coffee. Bed just... More

Stayed here for three days as we visited Derby for a friends birthday. The hotel was very cheap but was perfectly hospitable. The rooms were straightforward with simple furnishings. The bed was quite firm, which is as I like it, but some other reviewers have mentioned they were too hard. The location is perfect for quick access to the rail... More

This hotel is great for the train station just across the road. Basic room but i found the beds very hard so had to put the quilt from the other bed onto the bed i was sleeping on to try to make it softer. No aircon as described on their website you can open the window but if your at... More

By no means bad for the price. Clean and comftable to summerise with free parking to rear. Decor is a bit dated and on my visit we did have a rude awakening at 3am due to rowdy neighbours singing Frozen at the top of their voices. But a quick call to the mamagement and they ceased...for 5 mins before starting... More
